On another note, this is disappointing to me because, although George W. Bush is establishment, he was a very pro-life President. He put two pro-life justices on the Supreme Court. He didn't support embryonic stem cell research. I thought the issue meant something to him and wasn't just something that he used to pander to his base. Obviously it doesn't if he is willing to cede the Supreme Court to Hillary and her radical pro-abortion justices. The same could be said for the Second Amendment as well.

If one researches it, persecution of Christians in Iraq definitely started during the Bush administration. I liked GWB too; but the more I looked into this issue, the more I was disappointed at what I found out.

Assuming that Trump wins then I assume such a party (if needed in case the GOP must go away) would nominate Trump. Truth be told I stopped considering myself to be a Republican the day that Dubya invaded Iraq in March 2003 without first going to Congress in March 2003 to get an up/down vote on a resolution of war. I now consider myself an Independent who will only pick political parties for Primaries and Caucuses when I must choose a party-specific ballot. I believe that the President, as Commander-in-Chief, has the responsibility to have the military engage for defensive purposes when we are attacked and to do so under procedures well-defined by law. But we should never give any one person the authority to go start a war which we’ve allowed to happen. Instead such a matter should be decided by Congress to ensure that abuse of power doesn’t happen. Furthermore, its the supreme law of the land that Congress, not the President, has the power to declare War.
