Did Comey's fear of Trump becoming president and having Trump's AG investigate his own unwillingness to investigate Hillary's criminal activities prompt him to change his tune?

I think he shut down the investigation to save his ass. He reopened it to redeem the honor of the FBI
Something was promised to Comey by the Clinton’s, they double crossed him and this is payback.
I agree. He has a conscience after all. But I’m not overlooking all the staffers who were fed up with his “cover” for Clinton.

Exactly. He had stacks of resignation letters piling up on his desk. his own men were shunning him in the halls of the FBI.
This is his chance at redemption. Weiner gives him a cover for re-opening the investigation and falling on the right side of honor.
Something about this doesn’t feel right. There’s something going on that we don’t know about.
There are a few things that seem obvious.
Comey choose not to prosecute Hillary when the simple fact of setting up a private server for classified info and obstruction of justice would get her 10+ years in a federal pen. So there is the coverup. No evidence needed for that as it is public information.
Then there is Clinton actions themselves. See above.
I think it is pretty apparent that the Weasel lost control of the coverup. Could be FBI or an outside agency that was going to go public.
There are other things that might be involved. Was Huma send her friends at the Muslim Brotherhood updates on US policy? Was there info on the sex lifes of Huma and Clinton? Was there the underaged sex scandal?
Who knows but it seems that if the Weasel didn’t think the above crimes were that important I doubt that kind of thing would make him reopen the investigation.
As per Trey Gowdy Investigations are never closed unless it is resolved at Court or the Statutes of Limitations

Comey’s actions speak directly to Trump’s statement of draining the DC swamp and to clean out the corruption. I presume at this point Comey is reversing his own illegal activity’s course and enforcing the laws that he was sworn to do in the first place. Thus, he is hoping to not get indicted by Trump’s AG. My sense, Comey needs to get prosecuted under RICO just like the obozo, Loretta Lynch and the Clintons and any and all of those who were directly involved in the Clinton Crime Family activities.

They’re putting out articles about how he destroyed emails and documents in lawsuits forcing some who sued him to have to spend millions in attorney’s fees and prolonging the suits. What a horrible, horrible man! /s

any sex) was unstable and capable of pulling the NUCLEAR
TRIGGER in a fit of rage that would engulf the whole world
in a nuclear conflagration - and that I would go down in
history as a worse ASS than did BENEDICT ARNOLD for covering
for this candidate - I think I might “get religion” real
fast while there was still time to do so.
I’m happy but stunned that this is the news that is cratering Hillary in the polls. 33,000 emails didn’t do a thing, but a handful of new ones are? Was it just the last straw?

I hope I’m right too. I’ve been wrong plenty of times before. Time will tell. I don’t think comey has had an epiphany, those are pretty rare.
