Still it's an improvement over Bear Roll-On.
Some folks are just too stupid to be alive
Why draw attention to yourself when a bear is passing by
Because they are cute and cuddly. Or at least that is what they see on TV.
Or bear aspirin.
That is hilarious.
Bear pepperspray = Human seasoning for bears
Bear spray works if the bear is standing still. But in this case, the bear was running so fast that the spray didn’t affect him.
I was looking into that today. Some have been built and tested. Check UTube....
Well, there are Black Bears and Brown/white Bears.
I already have something for bear--6 rounds of 44mag.
Which is better? 220gr at 1200fps (x13)? Or 240gr at 1350 (x6)?
Whichever one you can shoot better, fast.

The story of a guy who used a 10mm
In real life, bear spray works very well, and not just against the curious bear. This is one exception proving the rule. I can show you far more handgun failures against grizzlies.
I notice he was good enough after the incident to stand there and make a you tube video. Looks like the bear impacted him and didn’t hang around.
Hey, I got half eaten by a bear but took time to make this video before going to the hospital.
LOL
People and their priorities.
I love my Model 29 S&W.
It is also easy to get it confused with “bare spray”, which is used at raunchy parties to remove a person’s clothes....if used on a bear, it simply desolves the animals fur and makes them angry! Not good!
Tells you how severe the attack wasn’t, and that the bear didn’t stop and play after charging through him. And though everyone fancies themselves a Wyatt Earp, drawing and precisely hitting the shut down point on a charging bear is dicey business.
Is a 12 gauge shotgun with 3" slugs an acceptable choice? :)
If this is a pop quiz I'm going old school - a model 29 with serious hard cast maxi-loads launching preferably out of a six inch barrel... yeah, like that one right there.
Since you ax the question, though, I hear that some up in bear country are making the change to the 10mm. I've even heard of one guy who theorized, and then proved, that 9mm is adequate for bear defense with certain loads. Sounds nuts to me but what do I know, I don't live in bear country, I just read about it. :)
They ain’t Yogi or Boo Boo
