Maybe don't tailgate a moose the next time you see one. When these two snow mobilers ran into one, the moose had a little something to say about their tailing too close. These two managed to get out with minimal damage, but it was a good thing at least one of them was carrying a gun to warn the creature off. Nobody got seriously hurt this time, but it certainly says something about packing heat in the wilderness. See the video here.
Moose bites can be pretty nasty.
Should have just given him some cheese.
Ask your sister?
Hey Rocky! Look what I can do!
The sister missed the opportunity to bite the moose.
The video is from 2014. It supposedly took place in Maine. The pistol is said to be a .380.

Hope fish and game get a copy of this. Against state and federal laws to chase game from a motor vehicle.
I don't sense that the guy was really crowding the moose or harassing it, although the moose seem to think otherwise. I've followed moose down the road in a truck and on motorcycles trying to unnerve them enough so that they will get off the road so I can continue. I've always kept a good distance between me and the moose and tried to be patient because it can take a long time for moose to get the idea. If you don't put a little pressure on them, moose will stand there and stare at you all day long.
I bet you tailgate people on the road too! : )
That moose er.. Ford is too slow...beep beep
