He really needs to let this drop. There is nothing to gain here. Also, it takes away the advantage of being able to go after Hillary for he involvement in Bill’s bimbos. All they have to say is “Trump went after Machado” every time he brings up the Clinton bimbos.

This is now the big story on CNN and Fox Covuto show. A CNN “reporter” said the no fat women allowed story will be kept in the headlines in the election in 39 days.
Trump need to STFU on twitter and let it go. There is so may was he could attack Clinton and he stays on the defensive. He has no friends in the media, zero.

It wasn’t dying. They had planned a much bigger splash, but the woman’s past came out. Their hits pieces with this woman were planned with the Clinton campaign in advance.
“Machado has been working closely with the Clinton campaign since the summer, and she and the Democratic nominee were clearly prepared for Trump’s reaction. The campaign released a two-minute Web video telling Machado’s story after the debate, while Cosmopolitan magazine published a profile of Machado on Tuesday that included photos of her draped in an American flag.”
They had planned to take Donald down with this story.
We need to attack Hillary on the story. Does she think a hard core porn star represents the typical Hispanic American in this country.
Some black female reporter made a false claim right after the debate. But they went and got the tape to prove she lied.
Trump should have said:
“If you want to talk about a woman who has been treated poorly, you should talk to Juanita Broaddrick, or Paula Jones or.....”
And left it at that.
Have you considered that Trump might be making these kinds of ‘mistakes’ on purpose. Yes, that sounds insane, but hear me out:
All of these campaigns tend to have a natural ebb and a flow to them. However, by making these ‘mistakes’ periodically, Trump appears to be able to control when the ebbs and flows happen.
Consider this: what would happen if Trump had just annihilated her at the debate and kept doing everything right this week and was up by 7-10 in the polls? I’ll tell you what: abject panic on their end and they would be trying to find SOME way to claw their way back on top that Trump might not be able to control.
By being the reason for the ebb, he controls when the flows happen and takes away her control to do the same. It removes any momentum she might gather by her side panicking.
The last flow is the one that counts and if Trump controls everything before it, he can control when and how it happens.
Just a thought that I hadn’t seen mentioned before...

Actually, this did occur to me. I know people in the campaign, but I can’t ask them for strategy details. However, I DO think Trump knows what he’s doing, or has a plan. I’m sure his advisors are saying, “Don’t talk about fat chick,” or they have all had a discussion and know what they are doing.
Regardless, it keeps Trump in the public eye with utterly free publicity. 9/10 people the street don’t know who the fat chick is, but everyone knows Trump, and probably a lot secretly agree with him.
What if this is one of these “counter fires” set to burn a line of attack out early?
