Those who watched this debate and paid attention saw the major reason this election belongs to Trump and this debate belongs to Trump
He is REAL. He speaks from the heart, he speaks from experience, and he speaks with conviction.
1. Trump On Business: Trump won that hands down. Clinton was clearly rattled.
2. Trump on Security: Trump devastating blow about Clinton's cheating Bernie Sanders. She knew it struck to the heart of her democrat voters.
3. Trump on International Affairs: Trump Blew Her Out of the Water. Don't listen to the pundits. Trump's point that any 'friend' should pay their own way was remarkable. His insight into the poverty of the Iran deal was from a man who knew a hostage payment and a buy-off when he saw one. He knew it was a lousy deal.
4. Trump on the Iraq War. He fought BOTH the Moderator and the other Candidate and he took them down. His maybe to Howard Stern was 6 months before the invasion. His conversation with Hannity was regular, and before the war, and Trump forced them to back down.
We know the talking head media will all go against Trump.
The truth, though, is that Holt was a disgrace at particularly the Iraq War point.
Trump took her down on the economy, jobs, etc.

No questions on the Clinton foundation, Ukraine, emails,
“Trump Against BOTH Lester Holt and Hillary Clinton”
It’s Trump against the moderators, Hillary, Big Media, the pundits, and the GOPe.

Trump took Hillary down
Now he has to take the talking heads down
When Hillary asked him what he was hiding on his tax returns, he should have answered “I’ll tell you what I’m NOT hiding and that is 33,000 emails that were subpoenaed.”

I didn’t watch the debate but only followed here on FR. It reminded me so much of the primary debates where many were saying trump was stomping and others were saying he was crumbling. Guess what, Trump won the nomination handily. The proof is in the voting. All else is garbage.
Trump won the start. Hildabeast won the middle. A draw during closing. My guess is most people who don’t care turned off after the first 15 minutes so Trump wins.
Lester the Molester had all the right gotcha questions all lined up.
He had NO gotchas for Hiliary...
I didn’t catch the beginning, did Lester Holt question Hillary about Benghazi at all?
Lester Holt didn’t ask her a single difficult question all night
It is horrific to have to debate against a person that lies and a moderator that tees up the questions for that same person.
A draw. No major knockout on either side. Trump stood up for himself when necessary.
If I were to advise Trump, it would consist of the following:
1) Complete your sentences. You are giving the audience too much credit for figuring out what you mean when you shoot off two or three words.
2) Stop repeating the same point 5 or 6 times. You are wasting time.
3) Speak less to broad concepts and more to the common man.
4) Affability matters. Reagan won on affability. Smile a little more, but not with that forced weird smile Hillary plastered on most of the debatte.
On the whole I give Hillary high marks, an A-, and Trump a B or so. Stylistically Hillary did very well, content Trump nailed it a few times.
He needs to take a reality check and prepare more. Obama had a HORRIBLE first debate and came back strong. Trump wasn’t horrible, but he needs to come back strong. I know he can do it.

No, I was hoping Trump would bring it up.
When did Lester go black? I always thought he was a white guy.
Why did Trump allow Clinton to wear the ear device? Why does she need it? It’s clearly cheating.

I see it entirely differently as this thread probably makes clear.
I thought Hillary was deer-in-the-headlights for 2/3rds of the debate.
