You won’t like my advice...get someone else to do it!!
I had to learn how to edit video and convert it and upload it, because I do live performances and need to make them available online. Drove me crazy and took a week to get the first one right.
Then last week I wanted to do something much simpler with video: download a youtube video. Got downloadhelper and it swore it could copy any video. Yeah, any but a youtube! Finally gave up on that.
There are professionals who do these things, if you’re technologically challenged as I am. A few years ago I had to get a reel of 90-year-old film onto dvd, took it to a pro, paid $100 gratefully.
Hope I haven’t discouraged you. Just needed to vent a little about my techie traumas. :)
Hopalong Ginsburg has some music video experience. It may make no sense whatsoever but it could be very entertaining nonetheless.
If you’re running windows then you probably already have a video creation software. Just import the music and images and stitch them together.
By amazing coincidence, I thought of this song a couple of weeks ago, and it made me think of Hillary. Especially the insane laughing towards the end. I’m still considering creating a Clinton video with that soundtrack.
I tried a few months ago but haven’t the software or the time to deal with this. Therefore asking for some person that can get this “fired” up.
My computer is hacking worse than Hillary which is why I’m asking FReepers for help. Not going to steal anybodies creation. Thought someone might have a skill set for a project that would take me a long time to learn. Doubt I’d finish by election day.
And we have a winner!! Please email me if you finish. I have a feeling it will go viral if you can create a scenario with this song. I know our fellow FReepers would like it. Kudos!
I have Win 8 and used Windows Live Movie Maker. Was no fun. YMMV.
I have done over 400 videos on YouTube and have nearly 13,000 subscribers. The first thing you need to do is get permission from the copyright holder of the music. Absent that, don’t bother.
I usually use one of two options to make videos.
1. There is an automatic video generation site called http://mvgen.com/ that will create videos from animated gifs that it finds on the Web. Very random; expect to try several times before you get something that you like. On the bright side, one of the concepts available in Step 2 is Hillary Clinton.
2. Use Windows Movie Maker to put one together from clips and images. Easy.
Just FYI, if you need to download YouTube video and/or audio, http://www.clipconverter.cc/ works like a charm.
I’ve had copyright complaints over the music in my mashup videos, and YouTube didn’t take them down - it just monetized them and took the ad revenue. Disappointing, but no big deal. If you don’t mind my asking, have you had other trouble?
That dashes my hopes on creativity. Not even for a fun school project? Hobby? If not sold and only shared I don't see how there could be a copyright issue. The link I shared was done by someone other than the musician. Maybe he had permission. Gads, shot down so early.*sigh*
Very helpful post. I’ll be referring to your links and others in the future. I’m just a noob with an idea and very little time to learn. One post sort of took the wind out of my sails regarding copyright infringement. Thank-you!
You’re very welcome. Just FYI, it literally took me minutes to figure out Movie Maker.
I have a number of ideas for an anti-Hillary video with certain music running in the back ground.
On the top of my list is;
“Lump”
by “The Presidents of the USA”

Whenever I start to collect the images/videos of Hillary that I want to go with the music I get really sick of seeing her face and I just quit.
Creating a video should be a “Labor of Love”, not one of disgust.
I use Serif.
I got their free version first and then bought the first upgrade in order to handle different file types.
Well worth it and a software company that you can actually call on the phone to get answers.
This is the video of my song “The Ballad of Hillary Clinton.” It was created using PowerPoint, Windows Movie Maker, images found with Google, and no love at all.

So, I put this video together a few years ago and it was pulled by YouTube.
I just uploaded it again.
