But, at least if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor, right?
Right?
0care is a mess, and “shockingly” nothing about big-government health insurance is working as it was supposed to.
I hope Trump’s administration comes loaded for bear!
It’s a good thing everyone’s saving $2500/year so they can afford these premium increases!
????????????????????????????????????????????
Rep. Tim Walz, D-Minn., They just didnt understand how we could save money on this by adding more people to the system, how it was going to impact them in terms of their premiums and their access to care.
Up is down, the sky is green, Islam is peace, so why wouldn’t this be positive
Up is down, left is right, black is white, wrong is right, and so forth and so on....Alice in Wonderland!
Dem voters will be defending this. They’re highly educated and understand the complicated stuff.

Those subsidy payments for the 76% are paid for by the 24% who actually pay full price for the insurance, yes? How many of those 24%, who almost by definition don’t need the insurance, will continue to pay regardless of price?
When I first investigated this for the first year, my cheapest lead plan was $8,000 per year, about what I and my employer paid for my premium Blue Cross Blue Shield when I was employed. But, (and that’s a Michelle sized butt) I had to pay $10,000 out of pocket before any “benefits” kicked in. Despite having no income because I was unemployed, I did not qualify for subsidies as I have a 401k. (There were a few other reasons I don’t recall now.)
I decided that for $18,000 I could afford a lot of medical care. Now, suppose I became injured or sick in August and had just spent my $10,000 out of pocket by December. Then, the out of pocket costs would have to be $20,000 before the “befits” kicked in.
The whole mechanism is crazy. Also, the doctor gives me a 30% discount for cash.
In other news Obama says “Blood in your urine is a good thing!”
All of this can be FIXED OVERNIGHT by President Trump!
First, CONgress Will NEVER send legislation to a President Trump repealing Obamacare in it’s entirety, NEVER!!!
But a President Trump could easily issue 2 Executive Orders:
1. All Federal Employees and Retired Federal Employees, SHALL enroll in and purchase their own Personal and Family Health Insurance from the Affordable Care Act Exchange in the State they “Legally” reside in. No Taxpayer Funds Shall be used for ANY Health Insurance for ANYONE.
2. Any STATE that does not have ALL PUBLIC EMPLOYEES and Public Employee Retirees enroll in and purchase their own Personal and Family Health Insurance from the Affordable Care Act Exchange in their State, SHALL receive NO FEDERAL FUNDING FOR EDUCATION.
PROBLEM SOLVED
This and ONLY THIS will Force the Entire Congress to repeal the law, And I would Hope and Pray that a President Trump VETOES ANY Repeal Legislation that is not UNANIMOUS
Sort of like inhaling coal smoke is good for the lungs.
We’re in Illinois. I’m 65 and I’m retiring this year, and thus will lose my group health plan. So, I will get Medicare, but my wife — who is a few years younger, and has health issues — will lose the group coverage when I retire.
$18,000 - $20,000 a year is a hell of a hit for us to pay for health insurance just for my wife, and at that just for a basic bronze plan that only pays 50% after a huge deductible is met.
So, we’ll be buying her medical equipment and paying cash for her medical visits. If she does not have a major hospitalization before she qualifies for Medicare we’ll be coming out ahead of the game.
A pretty big IF.
Before Obamacare — unless you were unemployed or making minimum wage — health insurance was affordable even for private plans (i.e., not group plans), with total expenses (i.e., premium, deductible, and co-pays) for a husband and wife, for good coverage, was less than $10,000 a year, depending on where you lived.
Now, “Affordable Healthcare” is anything but.
Obamacare is failing by DESIGN....it was always intended to fail so the lefties could ram single payer up our collective behinds.
Where is Nancy P. Lousy with her “affordable.....affordable....”?
Well one it costs 8% of your income you are not required to buy it, so there.
The only people I am upset with work for the USPS.
For three years now they have lost the $2,500 Check that Obama promised me I would receive after Obamacare Passed.
Gruber is back working in the White House?
