Dems Pouring Millions Into Black Lives Matter
It’s a full-fledged political and terrorist machine.

Chants of “black lives matter” have filled the streets since the 2014 shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson. But what once was a grassroots movement has swelled to a full-on political machine and its increasing terrorism has the full financial blessing of several liberal foundations.
TruthRevolt previously reported on George Soros’s hefty donation of $33 million to ensure the Ferguson protests stayed in the spotlight for as long as possible. This funding helped bring in protesters by the busloads to Missouri and allowed them to sustain an echo chamber on social media to push their agenda. But that was just the tip of the iceberg.
Now, according to The Washington Times, other liberal donors are pledging their support to the Black Lives Matter movement. The Ford Foundation and Borealis Philanthropy have formed the Black-Led Movement Fund (BLMF) and are expected to raise $100 million for the Movement for Black Lives coalition. Borealis released a statement:
The BLMF provides grants, movement building resources, and technical assistance to organizations working advance the leadership and vision of young, Black, queer, feminists and immigrant leaders who are shaping and leading a national conversation about criminalization, policing and race in America.
That’s a very sanitized description of the BLM movement. You have to peel back the layers of BLM rhetoric and expose its true nature: an anti-America, anti-Israel, Marxist, racist organization. Fortunately, they’ve made this very easy to do by admitting it themselves. The Movement for Black Lives coalition recently released its platform, and it demands nothing short of a political, social, economic, and criminal takeover of America. None of it is reasonable, but it’s fully backed by a leftist machine that shows no signs of slowing.

“Black Lives Matter” Cashes In With $100 Million From Leftist Foundations
Excerpted from The Washington Times: For all its talk of being a street uprising, Black Lives Matter is increasingly awash in cash, raking in pledges of more than $100 million from liberal foundations and others eager to contribute to what has become the grant-making cause du jour.
The Ford Foundation and Borealis Philanthropy recently announced the formation of the Black-Led Movement Fund [BLMF], a six-year pooled donor campaign aimed at raising $100 million for the Movement for Black Lives coalition.
That funding comes in addition to more than $33 million in grants to the Black Lives Matter movement from top Democratic Party donor George Soros through his Open Society Foundations, as well as grant-making from the Center for American Progress.
“The BLMF provides grants, movement building resources, and technical assistance to organizations working advance the leadership and vision of young, Black, queer, feminists and immigrant leaders who are shaping and leading a national conversation about criminalization, policing and race in America,” said the Borealis announcement.
In doing so, however, the foundations have aligned themselves with the staunch left-wing platform of the Movement for Black Lives, which unveiled a policy agenda shortly after the fund was announced accusing Israel of being an “apartheid state” guilty of “genocide.”
Released Aug. 1, the platform also calls for defunding police departments, race-based reparations, breaking, voting rights for illegal immigrants, fossil-fuel divestment, an end to private education and charter schools, a “universal basic income,” and free college for blacks.
As far as critics are concerned, the grab-bag platform combined with the staggering underwriting commitment offer more evidence that Black Lives Matter is being used as a conduit for left-wing politics as usual.

I can see this on the political and historical-cultural levels. I recall the Dylan lyric, for example, “If my thought-dreams could be seen, they’d probably put my head in a guillotine” and I think, “everything is 180 degrees!”

Milwaukee police officer who shot Sylville Smith identified, threats follow

The identity of the police officer who shot and killed Sylville Smith appeared on social media and was confirmed today by the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. Photos of the officer on social media with his name (and some with his address) prompted responses encouraging violence against him:
As of Tuesday, at least 3,000 people have shared a Facebook photo of the 24-year-old Milwaukee patrolman who fatally shot 23-year-old Sylville Smith – some of them adding furious and threatening comments.
“Now y’all see his face if he’s seen anywhere in the city drop him,” read one post. Another called for a gun so the person could “shoot him right in his head.”
The posters gave the officer’s name, Dominique Heaggan, and some included his home address. The Journal Sentinel has independently confirmed his identity, which has not been released by the Police Department. He is also known as Dominique Heaggan-Brown.
The NY Daily News published some examples of other responses condoning violence against Heaggan-Brown online:
“Do whatever ya’ll need to do to this man,” wrote one person.
Another wrote: “They coming for yo a–, Mr. Postman.”
