Britains leading Islamofascist agitator Anjem Choudary
Britains leading Islamofascist agitator Anjem Choudary could go to prison for a decade because he has been convicted of supporting Islamic State (a.k.a. Daesh, ISIS, ISIL).
Unfortunately the United Kingdom abolished the death penalty in 1998.
Breitbart News reports
Choudary was convicted at the Old Bailey after jurors heard that he had sworn allegiance to the terrorist group, and urged his followers to do the same in a series of videos broadcast via YouTube.
10 years isn’t too frightful

Depends on where they put him.
Putting him in prison is a mistake.
Putting him in prison makes him a “hero” and a “martyr” to free speech whose name is going to be plastered all over university campuses like Mumia Abu-Jamal, and will now give his platform all sorts of extra “righteousness” cred.
Were I the one in charge, I would have simply deported him to some Middle East shithole, and be done with it. Let him fend for himself amongst the wolves.
That’s why we have Gitmo. At least, until Hussein Obama unleashed them back into civilization.
He will indoctrinate prisoners in Islamic radicalism - his danger to British society will not change, in fact he may have a bigger and more lethal audience now.

Put him in Solitary, then force him to listen to the Bible on tape, in Arabic or his normal language over and over again for ten years.
Deprogram him from islam.
The only other method of reform I can think of is hang him, dip him in tar, hang him in a cage from a pier like the Brits did Captain Kidd.

I would just quietly deport him at 30,000 feet.
My fear is they’ll see hostages taken with the demand of setting him free.
Just saying, the UK needs to be prepared for the potential consequences.
