During his losing 2006 campaign for re-election as a United States Senator from Virginia, George Allen noticed a little brown man following him from rally to rally. He made an off-hand remark calling the little man Macaca which the media researched and found meant female monkey in Portuguese. This set off a fake, media generated firestorm that put Allen into a downward spiral he never recovered from. He did all of the standard things; went on a Trent Lott Apology Tour and apologized to Macaca personally but to no avail.
Several times during Donald Trumps campaign the media has been certain that he said macaca and each time they have been wrong. He said John McCain was not a war hero and because the media loved getting Democrat votes out of McCain they thought Trumps supporters-- whom they still havent figured out--would turn on Trump. We didnt because unlike them, we too know that McCain is not a war hero. One "macaca" down.
Next the media accused Trump of saying all Mexicans are criminals. The accusation was a lie and voters knew it just as well as the media types who made the claim. That macaca failed and actually launched Trumps campaign instead of ending it.
This has been followed by so many fake macacas that we cannot remember them all; but they have all failed to derail Trump because he is no George Allen.
During the Democrat Convention a Sharia agent...

There the trap is sprung. The minute you start apologizing, the press knows they have control over you.
Does any one “hear it” in that newsroom?
Hell! That newsroom WROTE IT!
If Trump would have apologized for his Illegal Immigrant comments he would have been finished, people were energized when he doubled down.
George Allen was an idiot Cheap abor Express stooge and instead of letting him go away after his “Macaca” moment, the VAGOP decided we had to run him for Senate again.
He lost again.
Macaca? Sounds Irish.
Trump released gas this morning. Stephanopolis on it right away!
I live in Virginia. and at the time, It was explained that Macaca (also spelled Macaque) is a dismissive epithet used by Francophone colonials.
Allen said it twice.
“This fellow here over here with the yellow shirt, Macaca, or whatever his name is. He’s with my opponent.... Let’s give a welcome to Macaca, here. Welcome to America and the real world of Virginia.”

I seem to remember that Allen claimed he was actually saying Mohawka because they guy had a Mohawk. That always seemed a bit of a stretch to me as well, because why wouldn't you say "the guy with the Mohawk" or "Mr. Mohawk over there." Also, I seem to recall that Allen's mother was actually from the part of the world where the term was used. Personally I think he probably had heard it at one time or another and not realizing even it was considered a slur just threw it out as a "foreign sounding" name. Sort of like referring to a Chinese guy as "Wang Chung or whatever his name is".
All Republicans are subjected to this close scrutiny of their every word. democrats aren’t. Everything that can be turned into a ready-made case of racism will be, and the media will broadcast it 24/7.
Groveling apologies won’t work. A Republican is considered guilty, no matter what.
It is also the proper Latin word for the brown macaque, the ubiquitous and nasty little monkey of Asia, if not the world. Yeah, he was saying a little brown monkey was following him around. But who cares right? It was the apologies that killed his political viability.
Groveling apologies DO work. They always successfully vaporize the candidacy of the apologizer.
Hillary Macaca Clinton.
They will not see it coming.
