Is the DNC convention truly that painful?
I don’t hear that word very often. Never drank to it, I gotta admit. In fact I’ve been married twice and had at least 13 sisters-in-law and I can’t remember a single time when one of them said the “w” word.
I was in the lobby of a building yesterday and CNN had anchorettes galore. The word “woman” was said almost as often as “like” is uttered by certain people.
There is a pervasive feeling that the women are running the train, with an occasional male stoking the fires. Even poor Tim Kaine has been reduced to the role of Court Eunuch.
It started with DWS and 5 vice chairs, 3 of which were women. After Debbie was pulled from speaking, here comes a black woman, Marcia Fudge, as Convention Chair, next comes Black Donna Brasile as interim DNC chair. Now comes Stephanie Rawlings Blake, the black mayor of Baltimore and Freddy Gray fame, gaveling the convention open and closed. Plus Black Mothers of Miscreants tonight.
No mentions of Islamic Terrorism, just the free stuff for women. And now Mikulski to nominate?
Hitlery’s a woman?!?! go figure.

I watched it with closed captioning off, at a wine bar that I frequent.
I have lib friends (some of whom have really been there for me when I needed it, real money-where-their-mouth is stuff) who detest Hillary, and don’t really like Venezuela Sanders either, and have no idea what to do.
Hetero white males of the Democrat Party have been reduced to pool boys.
Irony of it all: Bill is speaking tonight. Theme makes total sense.
Don’t let politics get in the way of people who actually care about you.

Friends and family always come before politics.
You can influence people if you encourage them with good humor, love, and clear, concise reasoning.
Lots of libs in my circle, love and reasoning doesn’t work with some of them. If the had the capacity to appreciate those things as offered, they wouldn’t be libs in the first place. I offer a moratorium on political discourse, where we can’t peacefully agree to disagree. I care for them on a personal basis, and they for me. But they take network news bullshit and BS from their lefty friends at face value, and do no homework whatsoever.
Done talking politics with them.
