Matt Damon wants American guns confiscated ‘in one fell swoop’

Matt Damon praised Australia’s gun laws while promoting his latest gun-toting Jason Bourne film in that country.
“You guys did it here in one fell swoop, and I wish that could happen in my country, but it’s such a personal issue for people that we cannot talk about it sensibly,” the diminutive star said while pandering his way through the former British prison colony.

“Obviously, mass shootings aren’t going to do it. There have been so many of them at this point. Sandy Hook — when those children were murdered — if that didn’t do it, you know, I just don’t know. Maybe we just need to evolve further before we can have that conversation. I don’t know.”
Was Damon just pandering to his foreign audience? Was he just trying to make them feel better about their intrusive government to sell more tickets to films?
It’s worth noting that the studio releasing the latest Bourne film uses a whole lot of firearms to make his character look tough and deadly....

Right.... like Sandy Hook would cause people to say, “...sure, just let me turn in my guns....”. Then only criminals would have guns, which seems to be a goal of the liberals.
