I am very old and very stressed - so any advice or comments are welcome.
Not familiar with this tool. A good place to start with a trusted tool is Malwarebytes. (Do a search, download the free version and run.)
Is it one of those tools that you see on sites that claim to fix your registry and then finds x amounts of errors?
If you are looking for malware detection, try malware bytes.
Did a little digging, it looks sketchy. I’d dump it and get Malwarebytes instead if you want a dedicated antimalware app.
If >IT< found >YOU<, probably not.
Don’t click on links in supposedly funny emails your pals send you. That is jerkball stuff responsible for probably 85% of malware infections and considerate people should not do it. Especially those who think they are clever and have their “funny of the day”. Those people piss me off.
It’s adware disguised as “helper” software. Remove it, if you can. Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features (Add/Remove programs in older versions of Windows) > uninstall the program.
If you still get pop ups and strange behavior, have a professional look at it.
Malwarebytes is great.
I also recommend Avast!
Both are free.
Norton and McAffe should be removed from your computer as they are valueless.

Malwarebytes is good stuff.
Some online chat info for you to peruse.
Looks like it's legit, but not free. But they are out of Slovakia. Personally, I'd steer clear.
The best antivirus programs are Kaspersky, Eset NOD32 and Bitdefender.
All can be gotten on Amazon for a substantial discount over retail.
Do not install a new antivirus program until you have uninstalled the old.
Windows itself usually downloads a new version of defender during updates and it works well and is free.

This is a relative of MacKeeper, which is a scam and a nightmare.
Another vote for Malwarebytes. Been using free version for years and finally paid for it on all of my machines. They earned it.
Recently, I needed support (first time) and they were unbelievable. Stayed with me over a 3 day period telling me what to do, reviewing the results and providing the next action to take... quickly responding all the way.
Could not ask for better support.

I don’t know if it’s in any way related to MacKeeper, but if it is, you are probably going to regret using it. MacKeeper acts like malware and is almost impossible to uninstall if you make the mistake of downloading it.
Worse, the company uses sneaky, deceptive, and very aggressive adware to try and trick you into downloading it.
If it’s the same company, you have my sympathy.
1) First Download the free Version of CC Cleaner
https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download
2) After you install it and load it up. Left click on “Cleaner” and to the right click “Run Cleaner”. Once it’s done hit “Run Cleaner” again. Do this over and over until you see nothing come up.
3) Then Left click “Registry” just below Cleaner on the left side of the CC Cleaner. Run this too over and over again until you do not see anything. Delete anything it finds.
4) Uninstall PC Keeper
5) Uninstall McCafee
6) After uninstalling these two programs go back to steps 2 and 3. When done then move to step 7.
7) Reboot your CPU.
8) Download and install Microsoft Security Essentials. It’s free too. On the link scroll down to the “English” version.

9) Once installed click on the “Update Tab” and right click on update definitions.
10) Once you have the latest updates, then left click on the “Home” tab. On the right hand side of the “Home” tab left click on “Full” and hit “Scan Now”.
When you do a “Full Scan” it will take a while to run. You can still use your computer, but it will be slower. Anyway, its free and should catch anything
