When the NBA went all-out gay
onenewsnow.com ^ | June 10, 2016 | Dr. Michael L. Brown

The NBA just announced it's partnering with GLSEN, the leading gay activist educational organization – an organization whose radical activism dates back more than a decade. How do the players really feel about this ... especially those with conservative Christian (or Muslim) values?

It wasn't enough for the NBA to celebrate the coming out of Jason Collins, although he was only a marginal player in the league, although his identical twin brother was not gay, and although his long-time girlfriend was surprised to learn he was gay.

It wasn't enough for the NBA to slap players with stiff fines for making "anti-gay" comments, especially after a well-known NBA ref came out as gay.

It wasn't enough for the NBA to threaten to punish the city of Charlotte, North Carolina with the removal of next year's All-Star game from the city unless the state allowed men to share locker rooms with women and girls.

Yes, you can now get T-shirts of your favorite NBA team featuring a rainbow-colored version of their logo.

A very dumb business move which will only further alienate their dwindling fan base.

The anal-sexers are taking over society.

This is a “you can’t have it both ways” issue. If all their team jerseys can be found in a gay theme, they are promoting one group over others. They don’t have a hetero jersey. If they only had a hetero jersey, That would be homophobic, right? So they are bigoted toward gays.

After Jordan left, the NBA officially ended for me.

There will never be another era like the 90s. All of the professionals left and were replaced with trash.

That's okay. They'll just move it to NBC/Comcast, and put the games on more NBC channels, rather than the few TBS associated channels.

The 90s paled in comparison to the 80s. The addition of several expansion teams watered down the league.

Basketball is pretty “gay” anyway.

Come on now, the gay sport is soccer.

I forbade my kids from playing it.

Good for you. Soccer is an “everyone wins a ribbon” game. Look up Ann Coulter’s article on it if you want a good laugh.

You did your kids a disservice. Soccer is the best sport to start kids in because of the emphasis on footwork which is the foundation to excelling in other sports

A number of years ago pro hockey came out in favor of gays. Seems somebody’s son died or committed suicide and there was a bunch of players who added their names to a pro-gay ad/statement or declaring themselves bi.

Psalm 50: 16-23 (NIV):

16 But to the wicked person, God says:
“What right have you to recite my laws
or take my covenant on your lips?
17 You hate my instruction
and cast my words behind you.
18 When you see a thief, you join with him;
you throw in your lot with adulterers.
19 You use your mouth for evil
and harness your tongue to deceit.
20 You sit and testify against your brother
and slander your own mother’s son.
21 When you did these things and I kept silent,
you thought I was exactly[c] like you.
But I now arraign you
and set my accusations before you.
22 “Consider this, you who forget God,
or I will tear you to pieces, with no one to rescue you:
23 Those who sacrifice thank offerings honor me,
and to the blameless[d] I will show my salvation.”

There’s no need to amplify on what kind of plugs they are or where they put them. We all know.

Whenever I briefly check out an NBA game, I can’t believe they don’t call the very obvious traveling violations.

Did they ditch the rule from the rulebook, or is it just ignored?

All of the professionals left and were replaced with trash.

Stephen Curry and Jeremy Lin are not trash.
