If you are so convinced that Donald Trump will lose to Hillary Clinton in November and in doing so, pull down the whole Republican Party, here are a few questions to consider.
If he were to gain the nomination, which single state (Ill make it easy) would Ted Cruz win that Mitt Romney did not win?
Do you think that Donald Trump would roll over for Hillary Clinton without hitting her over and over again on the numerous crimes she has committed and vulnerabilities she has? You know, like McCain and Romney did for Obama.
Do you imagine this would be like a typical presidential election where the media and its 6% trust factor would be able to give Trump THE TREATMENT they give to every Republican at every level?
Do you deny that Trump will get 20% of Blacks to vote for him as indicated in every smothered poll since last Labor Days USAToday poll? That fact isnt even challenged.
Do you really believe that Hillary Clinton would not have to fight for New York and thus waste time and money no Democrat has had to since 1988?
Do you think that Republican turnout being +30% and Democrat turnout being -30% are meaningless statistics?
Do you understand that Gallup recently measured Trump supporters enthusiasm at what they described as an 'Extraordinarily high' 65% and warned it is so high that failing to give Trump the nomination would be an impediment in November?
What do you think will be the result of Trump campaigning with Pat Smith then bringing up Kathleen Willey and Juanita Broaddrick?
Do you think Trump hasnt already neutered Bill Clinton...

Please read his position papers and his two policy books
Yeah I’ve never heard a politician say, “ There are plenty of government land we could sell to private citizens to pay down the debt.”
Bill liked it too
do not count on fed employees leaving the govt if Trump wins, it’s about as likely to happen as all the Hollywood types moving to Canada. those are idle threats. ain’t gonna happen.
Hillary (if you minus the vote rigging) would be beat by just about anyone. I believe Trump will crush her, including her vote rigging machine.
After 8yrs of Obama, America is ready for a no nonsense kind of guy, someone who does not care about polical correctness and is willing to say and do what is necessary for this country.
We know political types (read have only had jobs in Washington) are not the answer. Lets try something different.
Your entire premise and questions are based on a totally untrue foundation. You are asking questions from the point of view of an honest, God-fearing, Bible-based value system. A huge majority of voters do NOT subscribe to that foundation. So the dishonesty, lying, cheating, stealing, living off of someone else simply do not matter to the electorate. Hillary will be President.
At this point what other choice do we have?
I agree I’d like to know what a politician is going to do. But do we know that with any certainty with any of them?
The time to find out as much as we can is what we should have been doing for months back. At this point it looks like Trump vs Clinton so yes, I take it on faith that Clinton would be worse than Trump. That is not singing high praises for Trump because using Clinton as a metric is a very low bar.
I’ll go with history on this point, every change in party controlling the White House has led to a massive exodus of people from FedGov, each and every time, from those appointed (naturally) to even the front line workers (it’s going to change, better to get out now.)
It isn’t an idle threat, it is the natural change that happens when a party takes over the White House.
Wrong audience.
Please wait until you see who is Hillary's VP nominee before you make a statement like that.
“Pennsylvania is winnable with Trump.”
Forgetting these last two elections, the question is which blue state is Trump most likely to take from Clinton? The battleground, with everything being equal is Ohio. The only proof that Cruz would lose to Hillary is anti Cruz Republicans would stay home. The same applies to Trump with the exception that he would pull Sanders anti establishment voters away from Hillary.
People get wee wee’d up about the black and Hispanic vote. It’s irrelevant since it only applies to blue states that win by one city having 125% of the vote, aka Philly,
The bigger question that needs to be asked is whether Trumo being the nominee has an impact on Texas? If anti Trump voters from Texas stay home, it’s over.
Trump is not Romney. People like him or hate him but he was not forced on anyone top-down fashion.
Many conservatives stayed home because the GOP forced Romney down their throats. This is not happening (at least not yet) this time around. Now, if they nominate someone like Ryan, then yes you may see another sit-out.
Apparently GOPe did not get the message with the Romney fiasco. They are a rather dense lot.
there is a turnover in politically appointed positions of course, but it is irrelevant to the rank and file federal employee. I have lived and worked in Washington DC for over 30 years, and seen the ebb and flow. there is no net reduction in force because of administration change.
There is a limit to how much they are able to cheat. If things aren't close enough for cheating to be able to work, then they won't even try.
I look forward to Candy Crowley hosting the debate between Trump and Clinton.
That “intercourse” is going to be eoic and hilarious.
Those who oppose Trump are convinced everything he says is a lie. I choose to believe everything he says is the truth.
“which blue state is Trump most likely to take from Clinton?”
First order of business is to win FL, NC, VA, NM and OH. After that any one of NH, PA, NV or CO gets you the election. Of those the easiest to the hardest are PA, NV, NH and CO. Trump has the ability to win them all.
“the nominee has an impact on Texas?”
If Trump were to lose Texas because of the Cruz voters then they ought to run them out of the country...the shame will be on them.
BTW...I can tell you the states that CRuz would lose right off the bat. Florida and Virginia. And with that he would lose the election.
Do you think that the record PUBBIE turn out models will result in LESS people voting for Trump than Romney?
No one seems willing to admit there’s an elephant in the living room. This is a GOP sweep year for the presidency. Any plausible Republican nominee will beat any Democratic nominee.
