Actually, a lot of those who oppose abortion are against abortion on demand and could allow for exceptions. Not all, but a lot. This isn’t quite the same kind of issue as men in the ladies’ room.
NBC did no such thing. Trump is a liberal, although too many choose to ignore that reality.
Last I looked Trump's tax plan also increases the amount of people who would pay zero tax.
Both that and an increase for the rich unfortunately makes his tax plan more "progressive".

I could care less what the “official” platform of the GOP says. Every candidate who’s been the republican nominee in the last 40 years has had these abortion exceptions, rape, incest, life of the mother. The GOP does not practice what they preach.
