Very interesting. When you compare a new Morning Call/Muhlenberg Poll for the Pennsylvania GOP Primary with their poll from just one week earlier, it shows Donald Trump increasing his support while Ted Cruz loses ground. . . .

Good. Time to finish this thing.
Cruz is crashing in the polls now. What happens to his momentum after he loses the next 6 contests, often placing 3rd?
He is done.

If Cruz destroys the Party at the Convention then loses to Hillary, he is finished politically - BUT if he quits, he has a bright future.

Yes, Cruz is a narcissistic jerk - and exactly why he will likely quit before Cleveland. Narcissists don't often commit suicide.
— Bill Mitchell (@mitchellvii) April 15, 2016
I'm going on record as predicting CRUZ QUITS BEFORE CLEVELAND in a magnanimous gesture to save the Party gaining future leverage & goodwill.

Does narcissistic Cruz at age 45 seem like the kind of man to destroy his career just to stop a man with whom he largely agrees on policy?
— Bill Mitchell (@mitchellvii) April 15, 2016
People say Cruz will stay in to the end out of ambition - but political suicide is not ambitious. Being the guy who "savedthe Party" is.

Cruz going to Cleveland would be the equivalent of a Kamikaze pilot diving into an enemy ship. Bad for the boat, worse for the pilot.

Can’t win in the polls, can’t win for America
Lyin’ Ted is wearing thin.
Ceuz is becoming road kill.
3 words.
Rigged Colorado Outcome.
If it’s close, PA will be the wildcard, as it was in 1976. The head of the PA delegation was all but yelling at the delegates to vote for Reagan. Didn’t matter, most went for Ford (I have some personal inside accounts for that event).
I suspect all of the stories about his questionable delegate dealings have dovetailed with that nasty bit of work he did on Dr. Carson. He may have gotten away with that, except now it’s looking like this is his true character.
I think people are realizing that he’s just another sleazy, establishment lawyer/politician. Actions speak louder than words.
defeaTED
Cruz is becoming road kill.
While the GOPe and their Cruz surrogate keep tilting at windmills, the electorate is coming around to Trump as the candidate. As time goes on, the electorate will increasingly gravitate towards Trump and move away from Cruz. The GOPe will continue to deny the inevitable.
Yes. Cruz staying in is tantamount to sabotage at this point... And Levin is starting to PISS ME OFF.
Unfortunately it won’t matter. The RNC/GOP is going to get their contested convention one way or another.
They will not allow us to elect a President who deports fraudulently documented foreigners.
We will be served up another Designated Loser amnesty candidate.
LOLBOOM!
I quit listening to Levin 3 months ago.
Could not take it anymore.
From Conservative Treehouse
In every poll Donald Trump wins the he-is-who-he-is factor.
As Lee Atwater would tell you, thats critically important. Once the broader electorate sense who you are, and become comfortable with that sensibility, there is a remarkable shift toward granting the benefit of doubt in policy and change.
[The most recent example of such a benefactor was Bill Clinton in his prime.]
However, in the same polls, Ted Cruz is viewed as the candidate willing to tell you everything you want to hear so long as it benefits him. Thats the authenticity issue. Just as there is a long-term benefit in positive authenticity polling, there is a long-term detriment in negative authenticity polling.
Opinions of authenticity are almost impossible to change once they embed. The word almost is an understatement, because no politician in modern times has ever been able to reverse the authenticity component.
Bernie Sanders also benefits from positive opinions in authenticity, and Hillary Clinton is viewed similarly to Cruz as inherently inauthentic as a matter of mere disposition.
Lee Atwater. I miss that genius.
He was the best strategist I’ve ever observed.
Hoping he gets below 15% in NY....That would be shameful.
