Maybe he was successful when he was hoodwinked by McConnel about the bank deal.

This is a new one to me...Can you bring me up to speed? Thanks.

Ted Cruz would sell his soul to the Devil, if that got him power and control. Ted Cruz is bought and owned by the GOP Establiahment period. How any conservative can vote for him is beyond comprehension. He is in bed with the likes of Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, Lindsey Graham, John McCain, Carly Fiorina, Nikki Haley, Glenn Beck, Reince Priebus, etc. That association tells the entire story of what a low life, Ted Cruz is.

No, the Kochs are businessmen, like Trump—not career politicians, like Cruz.

Please define “conservative policies”.

Trump said the three most essential functions of government are:

Security
Health care
Education

He is wrong about that.

Trump says he supports raising taxes

He supports fed govt guaranteed healthcare

He has said these things repeatedly in debates and we willfully deny them.

Trump does not support conservative values and he has honestly told us that again and again

You really don’t believe that PACs don’t coordinate do you. I have some beachfront property in Phoenix you may like.

Why did his PAC give that money to Carley’s Pac.

Thanks for the post and thread.

Pretty clear to me why his PAC gave money to her PAC!

I read that the FEC was looking into this...

Born and raised in the South, and you are wrong.

How do you know whether or not I was born and raised in the South?

It’s not difficult at all. Trump supporters hate to discuss Trump’s Donnie-come-lately conversion to conservatism, or his GOPe style big government solutions to every problem. So they deflect the conversation.

“Donald is rich.” That’s a popular one.
“Donald has a beautiful wife”. OK
“Donald is filling stadiums”. About as relevant as the first two in determining whether Donald is a limited government conservative at the core.

If Donald was my candidate I would try to deflect the conversation to trivialities as well.

Where are trumps tax returns?

Where are Cruz's complete tax returns? He has only supplied the 1040s for four years.

Cruz tax returns

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this post! It lays out actions that define what I expect from a real conservative.

Cruz may call himself anything he wants but as far as I’m concerned he has sold his soul to non-conservatives and I don’t want any more of the same.

"where are Ted's many thousands showing up to fill an arena like Trump?"

Trump is the white Obama.

Labels are meaningless. Paul Ryan calls himself a conservative. So did Eric Cantor.

‘Born and raised in the South’ is shorthand for ‘I was born and raised in the South.’ I have no speculation as to your place of birth; I only know you do not grasp the correct usage of ‘y’all.’

Very well said. The list of red flags cropped up soon after he was elected to the Senate and they have just led to more and more red flags popping up almost daily.

Hey, if Bill and Hillary can do it, why can't Ted and Hedi ?

If Obama can do it, why can't Cruz?

That's the "Conservative logic" Cruz hucksters use. It boils down to saying that corruption and lies are fine if both side get chance to benefit from them on something like an equal basis.

Let anyone threaten the flow of graft and corruption, though, and . . . well look at what Newt got for keeping his word. Whatever else you can say about him, he delivered what he said he would deliver then the Republicans were happy to throw him out on false charges and let Clinton take the credit for a balanced budget.

In DC, corruption is the Spice and the Spice must flow.

If House America is destroyed but the Spice still flows, no problem.
