The left side of the tip of the ulna is clearly brighter than the right side. There appears to be some very slight discoloration in the carpal area, but it appears much less than where the finger bruises appear. I have a hard time calling it a bruise, at least from the photographs that I am looking at.
If we could see good quality original photos, from a couple of different angles, we could know much more.
I hope the police took photos, but so much time had elapsed, and no witness has come forward (that I know of) who saw the bruising prior to her taking the selfie, that it likely does not matter. It seems to come down to a “he said, he said, as Fields herself did not identify Lewandowski, as far as we know. She was virtually face to face with him in the video; perhaps she IDed him from pictures.

I watched the video several more times, and he clearly extends his left arm. If that were the arm of the supposed grab, it would appear that the bruising should be on the inside of her arm, instead of the outside.
However, there is a point in the video where the supposed grab could have been done with the right hand.
It all happened so quickly, with the contact considerably less than a second, that calling it an “assault” when she never lost her balance, winced, or cried out, seems overdone.

I can’t see any conclusive way to determine that the bruising shown in the photos was inflicted by Mr. Lewandowski...
We have video of the incident from almost every possible angle, and none of it points to a criminal act...While contact was made, since when is touching someone on the arm a crime? My view is that of a member of Mr. Trump’s entourage doing his job and screening for his boss from overly enthusiastic media hacks...
We have only Ms. Field’s word to rely on...In other words, not much evidence of wrongdoing...Just an elaborate “Gotcha!” game with eager help from the lamestream...
agree 100% if she cannot stand the heat, get the hell out of the kitchen. Makes women look bad, poor little ole me someone in the crowd touched me...had bigger bruises from open cupboard doors than that self inflicted bruise..
Thinking on this for a bit, it seems to be an attempt to assert effective “protected and special” status for certain groups. Reporters and women (especially anti-conservative) women are included. Women have always had a somewhat protected status, but as they gained majority power in the U.S., that power has been used to give them superior status over men. Similarily, members of the media have protected status above most other members of society.
A non-media man would never get away with such claims (unless he proved to be an especially useful tool against conservatives, such as an Anti-Trump or Anti-Cruz demonstrator).
The cries for special status here seem to be: How dare you touch a woman and a reporter! Don’t you know better than to touch your social superiors!

Yes, hardly a case of assault, even simple. That aspect of law has gotten totally exaggerated to the point of bordering on ridiculous, and not just with this case.
It was the dismissive tone that bothered me. I hadn’t been following it as closely as some. I heard there was a lawsuit, and this was the first piece beyond that I heard about. (Have other things going on these days)
I would have liked to see discussion, actually, just like yours!
I just felt there could that discourse without the outright dismissiveness. I didn’t see the point of it.
Where is the corresponding photo of the opposite side of her arm showing the thumb bruise, that must be a real beaut to provide enough resistive force to enable the fingers to press that hard enough against the flesh of her arm leaving 4 large bruises. Hmmm?

Lewandowski seems to be talking to him the whole time of the video. It’s like Fields is a mild distraction and brief interruption to the talking; while he’s conversing with plaid shirt guy he deftly pulls her away from Trump, where he knows she shouldn’t be, and goes right back to talking to plaid shirt guy. And I can imagine his third train of thought is “how come Secret Service isn’t doing their job, keeping her away”.

Her mother is also from Central America, is pro-illegal amnesty and a Hillary supporter. So it is known from where she hails.
Put it all together and the picture is of a fraud trying to create trouble.
The reason it is newsworthy is because a Clinton supporting prosecutor stepped forward to take advantage and allowed charges to be filed. These charges will be dismissed but it points to yet one more example of how the left operates. It is harassment, pure and simple.
thanks for posting this.. and I agree.. at ONE TIME there were a lot of experts in almost every field here at FR.. hopefully not all have been chased away by the disgusting lot of attack posters. Maybe someone will be able to handle this reasonable query.
And yes we SHOULD care. There has been a ridiculous and serious attack against DJT from every avenue imaginable. I am waiting for the dental society to be criticizing his tooth brushing methods.
I am not a forensic expert but I am an expert at bruises being the president of the Ohio Klutz society. I have seen the video. This is not where she was touched by Cory from what I could see of the replay.

too bad. She is attractive and probably could have really been a woman of worth if she hadn’t been so twisted. Is redemption possible? but of course... but her track record thus far doesn’t indicate any desire to do anything other than infringe on others for her own benefit.

Don’t misunderstand me. I think we feel exactly the same way about this.
I just didn’t agree with the method of cutting it off on the very first post is all. I wanted to learn something more. Heck, you can probably watch any network news or read a paper (I don’t do either) and the information they give you is not only untrustworthy, but deliberately so. And it is monotonously presented in a fairly uniform manner amongst those medias.
I get my jumping off point for news on FR.
That, and the opportunity for raw opinion and commentary by people who aren’t paid wear a suit or dress, put on makeup, and read a script. That’s why I come here. I want info on the arms trade, I go to hear what Freepers like Jeff Head and sukhoi-30mki have to say. If I am curious about Energy issues, I will go to threads where thackney may be found. And so on.
I don’t always agree with them, but I appreciate that they have something to say and may shed light on an issue I might possibly never consider.

That's what gripes me about Rush. You can tell Rush has changed from the old Rush. He talks too much about people (establishment/GOPe) badgering him. Rush just doesn't have any backbone anymore. You know he knows this is bogus, but he apparently talked about it for days. Shame on him.
Michelle Fields is a liar. Case closed. It was really disappointing to see the "supposed" conservative talkers like MKHamm, Dana and Megyn (not surprising) get on board. It shows, sadly, that they are nothing but feminists at heart. Doing the blowhard stuff for their ratings. :(
