Above is the celebrated self photo of Michelle Fields bruised arm. I invite forensic experts to analyze the pattern of the bruises. I am not a forensic expert, but there are a few questions I have for those who are.
In the complaint taken by the Jupiter Police Department, officer Marc Bujnowski says that he observed the bruises on 29 March, 2016.
This is Ms Fields left arm. It is alleged that Mr. Lewandowski grabbed her with his right hand, causing the bruises. He is alleged to have grabbed the left arm from behind and to the left of Ms Fields. My questions for the forensic experts on bruising are:
1. The biggest, bruise appears to be highest up on the arm, while the smallest seems to be lowest. There appears to be a bruise for each of four fingers. Is this typical bruising for a grab?
2. If typical, does it indicate that the hand doing the bruising had the forefinger on the upper part of the arm, and the pinky on the lower part of the arm?
3. Is the grip in a reasonable position for the right hand of a person, approaching from behind, to grab the left arm of a person in front of them?
4. Could the bruises be self inflicted?
My amateur expectations of the answers, done with a few geometrical exercises with a lady neighbor, are that the positioning of the bruises are consistent with both a grab from behind, right hand to left arm, and self inflicted bruises, right hand to left arm.
Measurement of the spacing of the bruises might give an indication if they are consistent with the hand size of either Mr. Lewandowski or Michelle Fields. But, that is unclear, because there is spacing between the individual bruises.
Some have suggested that because Ms Fields was wearing a jacket, the bruises are unusually distinct; that a jacket would blur the bruises into a single mark. I would like forensic experts to opine on that possibility.

Uh no, the biggest bruise appears at the wrist.
Fields was also wearing a long sleeve top.
The incident is moot because she was seen reaching for Trump which is prohibited for any presidential candidate. She's lucky she was not grabbed by the Secret Service who may have given her some real bruises.

yeh right? She should have had a photo with arm connected to her and time/date stamped for proof of believable. Totally bogus like herself.

Agreed. Given her background the chances of self inflicted are better than 50%.
But as an experiment hold out your left arm. And have someone else grab it. The four finger bruise pattern would be on the INSIDE of the forearm, with a single thumb bruise where the bruises in the photo are.
Weingarten completely ignores the larger bruise at the wrist. Therefore, discussion is not worth time.
I almost coldcocked a woman at a checkout line because she grabbed me in a manner that reminded me of when another person almost killed me with a knife several years ago. On my blindside.

I haven’t looked closely at the video; look at the upper back of her jacket, it bulges out when he grabbed her... As if he had grabbed the jacket covering the upper arm, not the upper arm itself, and not the forearm where the bruises are

I misread the report. It shows that notice to appear was dated the 29th of March, but it shows that the evidence was observed on 18 March.

Frankly I am unimpressed by this whole thing.
Big boo-hoo, she got a few boo-boos from a guy squeezing her while trying to hold/push her back.

Lady, you can be miffed, but it hardly qualifies as “assault” and “battery”. Incidental bruising is more like it. I get worse hitting my arm on a car door, but I don’t even call the doctor.

Case should be dismissed by NLT tomorrow.
Any objective view of that video tells you that this woman was:
1) Trying to get some kind of one on one with Trump after the event when he was on his way out. As I understand it, she was not supposed to be doing that.
2) That the Campaign Manager inserted himself to keep this woman away from the candidate as he made his way out of the hall.
3) That Ms Fields was not “thrown down,” in the least.
4) That Ms Fields was thwarted in her attempt to approach the candidate.
The campaign manager was doing his job and I saw nothing violent or untoward in what he did.
If her arm got bruised in that encounter it was unintentional, and it may simply be because of the condition of her skin.
Did she self inflict? I cannot say. But forensic people should be able to look at that film and pretty quickly establish of the campaign manager’s positioning in the encounter could have even produced what she is showing.
IMHO, even if it does...and I am not sure It lines up...there was nothing that rises to any kind of criminal act on his part.

I am willing to be educated. I see the wrist, I do not see a bruise. Where is it on the wrist?

There was no control of the arm from the time of the incident to the time when the picture was taken.
It was not in an evidence locker someplace.
The angles and positions of the people in the video do not force one to believe the woman had her lower arm grabbed by Lewandowski.
I have not seen a photo at all of the hand on the arm. There might be one. I haven’t seen it published
