Jacobin, a new socialist magazine, has published an essay advocating destroying the U.S. Constitution.
The magazine, which was launched in 2011 and is published four times a year, is the creation of Bhaskar Sunkara. Sunkara, 26, is the son of immigrants from Trinidad and Tobago. He lives in Brooklyn.

The Ten Commandments are mostly negative liberties, i.e. those that feature the phrase “Thou shalt not”. In the US Constitution, the “negative liberties” recognize what God has granted the people and what the government can never take away.

I wonder if he has ever asked his parents why they chose to live in the United States if he finds the Constitution so objectionable? Ones like him and Pol Pot (probably did so in his younger days) must spend most of their day dreaming about their dysfunctional and violent worldview.

Leftists don’t need to burn the Constitution. They’ve been ignoring it for quite awhile and making plenty of “progress” just fine.

A 2013 profile of Sunkara in the New York Times revealed that when Seth Ackerman, a graduate student at Cornell, wrote a piece critical of the U.S. Constitution, Sunkara came up with the title: "Seth had a title with nine words and a semicolon. I crossed it out and wrote 'Burn the Constitution.'"
I don't doubt that the long-term effect of a lot of this kind of propaganda will be horrible if people believe it, but so far it sounds like it's all a publicity gimmick, a way for ambitious writers to call attention to themselves.

Obama dismissed it (constitution) as not stating what government can do for (to) you. “You didn’t build that” totalitarian psyop. We are pawns in his criminal/collectivist head. The manifestation of his chess game is revealed every day.

Here’s a better idea. Burn “Jacobin”, the new magazine.

What part of "Preserve, Protect, and Defend the Constitution of the United States" is law enforcement missing here?

In other words an overthrow of the United States Government, although some may argue that it has happened already.

New Socialist Magazine Jacobin: 'Burn the Constitution' Why should they even bother, since almost everyone in public office today ignores it anyway?
To: DuncanWaring
Well, we could mitigate that warming effect somewhat and add a bit of ceremony, you know,
pour encourager les autres by tossing them into volcanoes Hawaiian style.
Although some of them might give even a volcano indigestion. Mind the burps and the fartochkas.
