CRUZ on kindly back to Texas, Ted. 1237 is an unattainable number.
The Green Papers 2016 Presidential Primaries, Caucuses, and Conventions ^ | March 17, 2016 | Myself/Vanity

According to the latest primary results compiled at Green-Papers, it is certain that it will be impossible for Ted to reach the 1237 delegate count or comply with Rule 40 for the nomination. See the link, analyze the stats. and tell me, Why is Ted still in this race?

It seems to me that Trump ought to have to win the nomination, and not simply be coronated as his aficionados wish.

That just shows their desperation. They know they need a contested convention. It’s their only hope. So they throw feigned support behind the only guy left that can bring about that possibility.

“You are smokin something. Cruz is only conservative except maybe lee in senate. Not like that “New York Liberal Progressive” Trump. Who changes what he says by the hour.”

Trumpbots are smoking weed.

The only way they can justify voting for Trump, who they know is a fraudulent conservative, is to tear down the credentials of Cruz.

They will exaggerate every vote Cruz has ever made and claim that every misstep he has made is a lie.

That is the only way they make their consciences feel good, for what is the completely unconservative act of voting for Trump.

Why? Because they see Trump getting away with breaking all the rules and lack of civility without repercussions.

What they don’t know is that the delegates are not going to be easy lemmings dazzled by Trump’s magical music.

I had high hopes for Cruz. His very public meltdown has been hard to watch. Hope he doesn’t end up like Rubio. Or Beck.

I have no idea why so many people think Arizona is a lock for Trump. I’ve looked at the polling and I can’t find any way to reach that conclusion. In fact, I think Arizona is Cruz’s to lose.

And don’t forget that unintelligible headline.

And I’m no Cruz supporter.

Heck, doesn’t anyone remember how to negotiate?

It is apparently a lost skill among many here, or they never had to negotiate in life to be successful.

Did you see the DRUDGE photo up presently, showing Ted’s little girl, doing bunny ears behind Daddy? Methinks those girls are nanny raised entirely, with two parents bent on ambition for something, as their first love.

Mr. proust,

Where did you acquire those popular vote tolls? Our numbers don’t jive.

I have been studying GreenPapers for a project.

20,360,893 total votes cast throughout the R Primary.

Trump: 7,542,566

Over 2 million more than Ted, & about more than all the rest combined.

DT: 693 delegates

The rules can only be changed by the delegates themselves, of which about 80% - or 2000 delegates will be controlled by Cruz and Trump.

Now tell me again about how they are going to change the rules to screw over Trump and/or Cruz?

Jeff, I would agree with you completely...but for a couple of factors:

1) The Dems will go after Trump like crazy for picking a VP that he, himself, said is "ineligible," plus being a huge liar.

2) There is a lot of water under the bridge - it'll be hard for both of them to walk back a lot of the nasty stuff that went back and forth. Not impossible, mind you, just hard. After all, Kennedy chose Johnson.

I just want to see these 2 guys unify, and freeze the corrupt GOPe out of the process. Only that will enable a victory in November, because we KNOW that the other side will pull out all of the stops. They're already starting - we're certain to have nearly nationwide riots over the summer, just to get high turnout among blacks and other minorities (or minororities, per the esteemed Mr. Bunker). Its going to be like 1968 all over again...I wouldn't want to own stock in property and casualty companies, they're going to get hosed when the shcities burn.
