It is still quite possible that Ted Cruz could win nomination on the first ballot. If Trump fails to win on the first ballot, it is very possible that Cruz could win on the second ballot. Let the process play out. If your man is as strong as you seem to think he is, then there is no need to demand that others drop out.
Lindsay Graham is doing fundraisers for Cruz . Meghan Mccain, John McCains daughter, endorsed Cruz. Fiorina endorsed Cruz etc. Cruz is a fraud and part of the GOPe.Romney attacked Trump but is supports CRuz as he said he will support all others except Trump
Cruz is only conservative except maybe lee in senate. Not like that New York Liberal Progressive Trump.

Jeff Sessions “The Soul of the Senate” does not agree.
I would hope so! This Cruz supporter will support the Donald in November should he win the nomination. Hillary must be stopped. Thats priority #1.
True.
“Why doesn’t that work for Trump Supporters? Why?”
I like your idea of Cruz dropping out and pledging his delegates to Trump, once their combined numbers pass the magic threshold.
I hope Cruz likes it too. That would go a long way toward redeeming him, in my eyes.
Why is Kasick still in? You should ponder that. Go ahead Start. Now. Ponder why Kasick is still in and what that means if Ted drops out and the postman’s kid does not. Ponder.
I think most of us agree a nominee who did not win the delegate or vote count would result in a big fail in Nov.
Dem control of WH, Senate, and SCOTUS for a decade or more.
Of course on FR we could quit worrying about politics and concentrate on guns, prepping, and sports.
For a lot of us there is still very little problem.
For me, I would likely get over what Cruz said this past weekend, but watching as he agreed with totalitarian leftist talking points and gave them credibility was a bit like listening to Tokyo Rose. It would eventually happen for me, but would take some time.
Just FYI.
Didn’t the Trump troll seminar teach you that Cruz does not need to get to 1237? All he needs to do is keep Donald from getting to 1237 and Shazamm, its instant 2nd ballot and the trapped Trump assigned delegates escape.
Glad to have you aboard!
Bah!:)
You perfectly describe a Trump candidacy, leading to a Clinton victory.
My question to you is, if this is such an easy win for Trump, why are you so anxious that the race simply be given to him without any sort of contest at all? Why not let the voters decide?
That can’t happen.. Trump has guaranteed that the Democrats would sue because Cruz was born in Canada. Trump is all wet as far as the notion of Cruz losing such a suit, but hey, he raised the issue.
Heck, doesn’t anyone remember how to negotiate?
Cruz arrives with an impressive (though insufficient) number of delegates.
“Hey, Donald, what is it worth to you to have a coronation today? I can think of a few ways we can make that happen.”
For that opportunity alone, Cruz should keep playing.
It doesn’t even mean that he has a statistical shot of winning.
Cruz may also figure it helps his future prospects to keep playing. I disagree. But he may have his reasons.
So let’s all back off. Trump is the nominee. In the meantime, many things which appear inexplicable may become apparent.
Fraud? In what way?
Watch and learn.
Try reading the NYT story past the headline and you’ll see they don’t believe their own headline.
