Was Cruz’s mother a u.s. citizen when he was born?
Would hillary have any trouble getting the discussion going in the courts? It wouldn’t be settled in time, and that would make Cruz unelectable.
She was born in the USA but there is a document showing she may have registered to vote in Canada. So her citizenship has been questioned.
That is in doubt. Why are the records sealed unless there is something to hide?

The standard isn’t “citizen” it’s Natural Born Citizen. I n Article II the Founders require a totally a 100% American Pedigree. “...born of a country to parents who are its citizens....”
Cruz lacks a 100% American parentage. He’s ineligible for either POTUS or VPOTUS.
The Dems will contest Cruz. Count on it!

Prior to the 1934 NATURALIZATION Act Ted Cruz would not even be a citizen of the USA. The son of a Cuban born in Canada is NOT a natural born citizen of the USA.
