Quickest way to shut a Cruz supporter up when they’re being obnoxious? — Ask them where they stood on the Obama birther issue.
I recognize some posters names as pretty hardcore birthers with heaps and heaps of ridicule towards those that disagreed with them.
Now the shoe is on the other foot and they’re wishing those posts they made would go away.

Personally I don’t think it matters anymore.
Cruz’s “Catching Fire” meme never really... well... caught fire. He’s a runner up, and quite frankly, his campaign associations are troubling (Jeff “Winning > Integrity” Roe, Glenn “Stabby the Clown” Beck, Kevin “Kill the Gays” Swanson, etc...).
Anti-Trumpers are always happy to say stuff like “look at how 60% of Republicans don’t want Trump”, but the converse of that is true, and the numbers are worse for Cruz.
Trump should pick a solid conservative that is well liked and people would be willing to swallow as a second-fiddle voice in the administration even if they’re “establishment”, and as long as they haven’t been part of the NAFTA/invaders problem, they will likely be acceptable to most people.

Those who demand that others disregard the Constitution are part of the problem. The Constitution has not changed with regard to eligibility since it was signed. The fact that progressives have so damaged the constitution that Conservatives ignore it as well is perhaps THE MAJOR cause of America’s downfall.
The Constitution is purported to be The Law of the Land. How can it be so easily discarded? Look around you.

Agreed. He is not a natural born citizen. Conservatives and liberals alike will attack him for it. And then ... finally ... the Supreme Court will take on the case and rule on the originalist meaning of the Constitutional term. Birthers, like me, will celebrate en-masse. And the only thing we have to do to make that happen is to get a republican naturalized citizen into the position of the presumptive nominee. Because the gutless wonders we call democrats would rather wet their beds than attack a democrat naturalized citizen (at best) like Obama in the same situation. I'd rather have Cruz than Trump; it's true. But Trump has all the right enemies, so I'll roll with that too.

The problem I see is that, even though they'd be wrong about Cruz's NBC status, the Lamestream Media and anti-Cruze pundits would still use the issue to create doubt in the voters' minds, causing enough cumulative damage to depress the vote by a couple of points.
And that could be enough to sway the election.
So they don't even have to be right, they just have to be vocal and persistent, and count on the copmlicity of the media to inflict the damage they need to...

yes, these guys are canadians specializing in immigration law, but its a pretty easy read. Instead of case laws, article refers to the various immigration laws and updates passed by congress.

What if I told you that the Dems have no plans to bring up the NBC issue because (1) they think they can beat Ted Cruz without doing it and (2) They are afraid it will backfire on the DEM Party if they do ?

Dont need Hillary or the dems to explain anything for me... Especially things concerning our constitution.
That being said, Cruz should never have ran as he is NOT qualified under the natural born clause.
