I posted this response in 2 other posts, and was requested that I post it by itself. So far I have gotten positive responses, but all comments are welcome.
I understand the core problem with people who do not support Trump. They look at him as a guy who says one thing and does another. This is not the case. I will explain. Trump, is a businessman. It is his job to get what he wants to get done, while satisfying as many opponents in the process. He does this as a daily skill he has developed over the years. He is NOT a politician, but the difference between a good businessman and a good politician is not that different, if you think about it.
If you think that he will, or any person will get into office and magically reverse all that Obama has done, your living in a fantasy world, regardless of what they promise. In the first 100 days, there are some things they can do, they can reverse executive orders, change political appointments, and even perhaps elect judges to the Supreme court.
But, it will be that person with negotiating skills, and the inherent ability to deal with both sides of the isle that will get the most done. Its the ART of the deal maker that will win the day.
Ted Cruz is universally hated by most in Washington, and IMO would be good for a SCOTUS appointment. Marco Rubio is just too young and inexperienced for such a monumental task, but his day may come. Hillary Clinton, is Bill Clinton II, or worse Obama II, she advocates all that he has done, and wants to continue with more of the same. She is a con artist since the days of white water, is a liar, hypocrite, and deceiver over Bengazi, is a Traitor over classified material in her own home on Servers, and should be in Jail, lot less running for Office. Bernie Sanders is a socialist, with no plans to really fix our country, rather spend its money earned by others, and continue the Obama legacy which he has much respect for...my God.
Trump is a problem solver, his goal is to get things done. He does not make idle promises and has a good idea what he can accomplish and what he cant. If he says he can build something, he usually already has people in mind to get the job done.
He is smart enough to know that he does not know everything, but is also smart enough to hire the people who know what he does not to make the best decision.
He finances himself, not because he has to, but because he knows that he cannot be influenced by a financier if he is to do what needs to be done.
I dont think he cares if he gets re-elected, if he does not meet his goals the first time around. I also think that if he tries to get things done and meets immovable people, he will not have any problem taking the issue to the people to bring pressure from the peoples side. He cant fire them, but he can make there lives very uncomfortable if they stand in the way.
He will not be politically correct with the peoples business, things will be done on time, at cost, and there will be no pork. He will exercise the Veto Pen, and will push for line item vetoing and simplified propositions, bills will be straightforward with NO additional pork. How refreshing. Any negotiations will be before the bill is written.
In short, America is a business, if you spend money for programs, they are business, not politics.
If your dealing with defense, your in it to win it. You dont send soldiers into a battle with their hands tied. It will be brutal and vicious, and our enemies will learn to avoid it at all costs. Brutality will be met with Overwhelming Brutality. We will win..FINALLY
Our military will become the strongest the newest and the most powerful in the world, AND we will use Americans to design and build it.
Our economy will begin to manufacture in America, we will stop importing people for jobs that can be filled with Americans with same or better skills (H1-B visa)
Finally we will secure our borders with Walls and technology, we will employ our ex-military who will use skills learned in service to protect our borders. All of this cannot be accomplished by a politician, it must be accomplished by a business savvy person, who understands construction, and contracts, and personnel. Only one candidate fits the bill.
“I play to people’s fantasies,” he writes. “People may not always think big themselves, but they can still get very excited by those who do. That’s why a little hyperbole never hurts. People want to believe that something is the biggest and the greatest and the most spectacular.” Donald J. Trump The Art of the Deal
We be dum lowe infermashun voterz. Teddi sed so an Teddi never lyes.
Except abowt TeePeeAye. An abowt Karson. An abowt Donuld. An abowt them goldmun lones. An abowt bein a kehnadian.
Uhh. Wayte a minnit.....
Ok, then, by way of comparison with Trump, a guy who lives to make deals:
What kind of negotiated deals, beneficial to the security and strengthh of the United States and the free world has the current president, Barack Obama, or other recent presidents made?
Do you believe that being sincere alone will do the trick? What other characteristics do you think are needed to succeed?
Has Trump promised to eliminate any government agencies?
Neither Rubio or Cruz is a natural born citizen. Neither of them had both parents who were U.S. citizens at the time of their birth. It doesn't matter where you are born it matters who your parents are and what their nationality is when you are born. Rubio and Cruz fail that test. Support them for something else, not POTUS.
President trump is going to make America Great Again for you as well.
I think Trump would be more inclined than most to look closely at the cost side of the green agenda. A whole lot of federal policy should be subjected to an intensive cost-benefit analysis.
I just don’t think I will ever be able to bring myself to vote for Trump. I just don’t believe a word out of his mouth, and I don’t trust him at all. If Trump is the nominee, I’ll probably just check out on the election. It makes me sick that my fellow citizens can’t come up with two better nominees than Clinton and Trump.
That proves that you are one of the "poorly educated" that Trump says he loves. America is not a business. If it were it would have declared bankruptcy long ago. Also, he is not going to self finance his general election campaign and he has not promised to do so. That "self-funded" line is just one of many sales pitches he is using to convince Trump's Chumps that he is fundamentally different.
You are supporting America's best carnival barker. I hope you and the rest of TRUMP'S CHUMPS don't kick yourselves when you go home in November with a stuffed animal and another President Clinton.
If TRUMP'S CHUMPS aren't ticked off by being called "poorly educated" by Donald J. Trump himself then there is nothing that will change their narrow minds.
He doesn’t say anything except for altering between insults and superlatives. People who disagree with him get insults. He gives himself superlative after superlative. He is a bundle of generalized superlatives and slogans. It’s going to be GREAT!. It is going to be SUPER. It is going to be AWESOME. You have NO IDEA. He sounds like those cure-all sales people who are peddling, basically, alcohol as medicine, claiming it will cure every ailment known to man. It won’t, of course. And neither will Trump be the answer to all our problems. Far from it. If he wins, he will be a disaster.
I like what you said except for the comments on the military. I have worked supporting our military my entire career, and live it every day. This nations Military is decimated, we have old ordinance, old airplanes, old ships, old electronics. The programs to implement them have been stripped thru sequester. What new equipment we have brought to the field gets left behind when we leave the battlefield. This has always baffled me. Left for our enemies to use against us, but more importantly an asset is lost. We could use this equipment over and over again. If we don’t use state of the art ships to move them, we certainly could use container ships or repurposed mothballed ships to transport, or all the mothballed C5 Galaxys and C-130s could be repurposed to transport our assets. A businessman would recover our assets, and prevent our enemies from using them. Collecting Arms taken from our enemies and using them ourselves should be standard operating procedure, yet we don’t do this. Waste Fraud and
Abuse is SOP, not as it should be.
Our men and women, especially the mid level, really experienced officers and NCO’s have been retired or let go, due to sequester. Our able bodied seamen and army personnel are severely depleted.
IMO, your incorrect concerning how our government should be run. Things, especially for the military are overpriced and undersupplied. $1000.00 bolts are more common than you think, there is no negotiating. Manufacturing for specialty items is backlogged years. The free market is hampered by illogical and restrictive regulations. Properly run, free market would reign, but not so.
The free market determines winners and losers, not the government. $15.00/hr wages is a job killer, no longer an entry level job.
As for the rest, I think your right on.
I said we are still the most formidable force...that was all I said. Sorry if you read it as something negative. I don’t know of a better military. Do you?
I used to agree with you until I went to his website, read a few of his books, listened to other who know him talk about what kind of man he is.
He is not a politician, I have already said that, when attacked he fights back.
If your (and I am not say you are) making judgments off 10 second sound bytes and Memes, your doing yourself a disservice. I urge everybody who thinks this to dig harder to find out what he really stands for, and look at many sources for what kind of man he is.
Personally, I found what Cruz and Rubio did during the past debate was disgraceful, and said more about them than Trump. What I did like was that Trump was unflappable, and held his own.
I truld feel he is a patriot, and wants to make America Better.
But, I respect your right to your opinion as well
By itself no. But I see world events were multiple other forces that could not have overwhelmed us before Sequester, much closer to succeeding.
That is my worry.
IMO, fixing America will be ALL about the business of doing it right, that will involve watching costs, negotiating for the right business model, and delivering on time. Politicians argue law and treaty, we have a lot to do before we get to that point, but, we also need someone who knows a scam, a bad deal, bad faith from experience.
I submit, that for someone to make that statement, you have your own ideas, which you do not hold up to public scrutiny. That...IMO...is the worst kind of cowardice. But, I could be wrong about you. Educate us all...please.
You live in Kansas, I presume, Wichita is a hub for new aircraft development. Lear, Spirit, Cessna, Boeing all live or die on government contracts. All are hurting from the Sequester from the last 8 years. ONLY Trump has addressed these problems and bringing manufacturing back to the US for our own aircraft, wing design, and employing US workers to build them.
If you can’t see that, then respectfully, we will move forward without you.
If we could have some kind of online exam, I would challenge any Cruzer that I know more about any aspect of Trump v Cruz than any Cruzer. WAY more. Most of my posts are things Cruzers never even heard of. They know nothing about Ted’s past, Heidi’s past. They know nothing about issues like trade and immigration. Just a couple of examples.
So your definitely NOT a Clinton Supporter, you saw how Rubio and Cruz treated Trump in the debates, so that means you can only support Kasich. And you base this on what a friend saw in Atlantic City. What information do you have on the person he fired? What did that person do to deserve it? Or do you only have 1/2 a story? You imply he always wore a red tie when he did his firings, So your Friend must have seen many firings? Right?
Sorry for being so flippant. I have seen many stories from all the candidates, and after the briefest of searches find them baseless or that there was much more to the story.
