Researchers have found strong evidence that racism helps the GOP win (Wonkblog barf)

In thousands and thousands of unmarked cemeteries throughout the South, the gradual decay of human remains forms shallow depressions in the earth. There is no comprehensive list of such sites, and many have been destroyed. Still, in places such as Charlotte and Orange and Bedford and Hendersonville and Tuscaloosa, the ground undulates over those believed to have been slaves.

There are places in the political landscape, too, where the ground shifts ever so slightly, where slavery has warped the electoral terrain.

In the South, it seems, old prejudices have persisted. Southern counties that had more slaves on the eve of the Civil War are distinct from their neighbors: White residents in those areas are more hostile toward African Americans and they are more likely to vote Republican today, new research shows. Drawing on archival Census figures and recent polls, the study adds to an expanding body of evidence on the importance of racial anxiety to the predominantly white Republican coalition.

"The underlying racial hostility goes on in the culture, passed on from generation to generation," said David Sears, a psychologist at the University of California, Los Angeles. "Local culture doesn't change very quickly." ...

Of course.
Once the left creates a dogma it can never change, even if the overwhelming evidence contradicts it.

Alternate explanation for wholesale failure cannot be even considered.

There's too much money and power to lose.

In our dispassionate quest to find racists, let’s ignore, of course, the favored party of the Muslim Brotherhood, La Raza, and the KKK.

Who controlled the Slave States governments since there was slavery in the south to the Mid 1970’s? Democrats. Who kept the slaves in bondage? Democrats. Who fought to keep the slaves in bondage? Democrats. Who opposed the 1964 Civil Rights Act. Democrats. Pretty damning, isn’t it?

Given eight years of Obama, BLM, and other assorted garbage, my view of ‘racism’ is not as negative as it used to be.

I have only been called a racist one time in my life and that was when I told my white lib sister that I was not voting for Barack Hussein Obama. Ever.

That’s right - we’ve been awash in a tsunami of racism the likes of which I haven’t seen since the sixties. Enough already! The left has so totally distorted the meaning and implications of racism that either everyone is racist or no one is - there’s no in between.

I consider myself a student of sociology who notices racism..first in Seattle.. then in IL and now for 3 years in GA.

Most white Republicans in GA that Ive met are less racist than most Democrats Ive met in IL. I could give many examples. 19th Ward Democrats who mostly run the Crook County Sheriffs office are far more racist than Republicans running Cobb or Gwinett County Sheriff offices.

The way white Democrats in Chicago relate to Black Democrats is far more racist than the way Micelle Nunn or Jason Carter supporters relate to Black Democrats in GA. Ive heard many white Chicago Democrats, when in white only company, use racial slurs that are not used by Georgia whites of either party.

I could give examples in police work both in the city, and in the suburbs where the department policy or its business-as-usual policy is more racist in IL than GA.

I could give examples of the sisters-of-new-trier run companies in Chciago northern burbs that use affirmative action to advance the white privilege of the sisters-of-new-trier. That type of white-privilege affirmative action is hard to find in Georgia.

Black racism helps them win; no mention of that. Over the past eight years they’ve reaped what they’ve sown, and Ferguson/Baltimore is Obama’s legacy of accomplishments for his peeps...

Expect this all the way to the election; the RINOs are dumb enough to believe the fire won’t be directed at them if they bump Trump.

Mitt Romney was demonized by the left because he is white, male, straight, and rich; after four years of Obama’s failed policies, that was still sufficient to drag him across the finish line. BTW, Hillary is all of the above except male.

And who turned Republican?

Those southerners.

It ain’t all what it’s made out to be - by either side.

Not all “isms” are inbred, or “taught” by parents, but learned by experience. Personal experience.

It’s the truth.
