Not so. He equated Rubio to himself as presidential material. Rubio would finish the already almost irreparable job of destroying our sovereignty. Without sovereignty, there’s nothing to protect.

“I see your last winner Romney just attacked your current one Trump.”

My last winner?

Romney was never my guy. Not even close. As a matter of fact, I was quite an annoyance to the sycophants who laid aside their principles to root for him.

There’s no comparison between Trump and Romney, aside from the fact that they’re both rich. That’s where the similarities end.

Trump has already achieved everything he set out to do in his life. He’s made more money than most people could ever dream of. He forged his own brand and made it iconic in our culture. He raised a great group of kids, and has had a wonderful life. In short, he has all any man could want.

So why run for president if he doesn’t truly intend to do the things he says he will? There’s nothing to be gained on a personal level for him. He doesn’t need the money or the perks that come with the job. Looking the whole thing over, the job of president isn’t a move up for him in any way.

What the job is, is a position from which he can do things to help his countrymen to live a better life than what they’ve been living these last twenty-odd years. I think the man wants to give something back to the country that enabled him to live out his dreams. I believe he wants to be remembered for something far greater than luxury hotels and skyscrapers.

I understand people’s skepticism about Trump. My first reaction to the news that he was running, was a hearty laugh. I fully expected him to be a momentary sideshow. But then I heard his announcement speech. It took me by surprise, because I never expected something that bold and daring to come from him. That one speech intrigued me just enough to start doing some due diligence on him. What I found made me realize that I had a media manufactured impression of the man that was a fraudulent image of who he really is.

I’m going long here, but I guess I just wanted to lay out a thumbnail explanation of why I support Trump for president.

Gotta run.

“Under the citizenship law Cruz was a citizen at birth, hence natural born, that’s all it means. He’s also thoroughly American.”

That is a lie, because Ted Cruz is a naturalized U.S. citizen by the authority of the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Act of 1952, which is a statutory law for naturalization;, and he is not a natural born citizen of the U.S. In the U.S. Supreme court case, United States v. Wong Kim Ark, 169 U.S. 649, 18 S.Ct. 456, 42 L.Ed. said “A person born out of the jurisdiction of the United States can only become a citizen by being naturalized....”

“from Obama?, TexasCajun wrote:

If you looking for a man that will lead & fight for our Constitutions rights, yes, Cruz is the man for the job.”

On the contrary, the actions of Ted Cruz serves to nullify and destroy the Constitution, especially with respect to his contempt for the rule of law and the natural born citizen clause. By running for President in defiance of the natural born citizen clause, Ted Cruz is implying the Congress has the power to legislate changes to natural law. Other examples of natural law are the inherent and natural born rights of free speech, self defense, free association, life, and liberty. If you allow Congress, the Supreme Court, and/or the President to redefine the ancient natural law of natural born citizenship by the stroke of a pen in an artificial and manmade statutory law, you are also acquiescing to their authority to also redefine those other natural law rights and personal defenses as well. Ted Cruz is effectively destroying the Constitution at its most fundamental level in his personal quest for power as President of the United States (POTUS).

Being born here and then raised in a country where the values are completely different and then coming back as a muslim/communist/lgbt agent and winning the presidency is worse in my opinion.

HUD scandal. Savings and Loan scandal. I’ll bet good money the majority of congresspeople who benefitted have been here a long time

I didn’t disregard the Constitution — those who voted for Obama did. Obama is not a natural born citizen; ergo, that clause is dead. I do not call for fighting these fellows with the Marquis of Queensbury rules anymore. And no one lays a guilt trip on me either. This is just a bloody brawl or cage match now. To this I say OKAY. Bring it on!

I did not call you “all sorts of vile things” in that post, so that is a false and abusive remark on your part. I did point out the illogical nature of your comments in which you accuse everyone in a class of people of being dishonest with a total disregard for the truth, and I pointed to the common wisdom of how such bigoted accusations are seen to come from the same people who are themselves guilty of the sins they are accusing other people of committing. If you perceive this situation as applying to yourself, you only have yourself to blame, because I am not and did not accuse you of being so.

“how many financial depts. at investment banks have you worked at.”

I’ve been an investor, trader, and day trader longer than some Freepers have been alive on this planet; and I am well aware of the problems of New York, Chicago, London, and the financial markets. Your comments against all persons participating in the financial markets and in New York City without distinction is a false and irrational libel.

“keep posting music no one’s ever heard of. it’s your forte.”

The music posts ended on February 14th when a moderator began the deleting of five music posts. Anything else you want to be abusive about to assuage your need to lash out at people?

You do not get to murder provisions of the Constitution just because the opponents murdered those provisions, just as you cannot murder a criminal. You must instead preserve the rule of law and bring the murderer to trial in a criminal court and secure a conviction before proceeding to punish the crime; which is the same procedure you aree subject to as well when you commit the same crime.

That is a peculiar statement for you to make, so perhaps you can explain to us when it was that George Soros, the Rothschilds, and other such persons acquired U.S. citizenship?

“The NBC presidential requirement was de facto changed with the election of the usurper, 0bama.”

You cannot amend the Constitution by violating it, and the authority of the Constitution was not amended by the unlawful inauguration of Barack Hussein Obama anymore than it was by the unlawful Republican Chester Arthur Administration.

“I know, I’ve read a half dozen different birther theories.
Yet you have failed to learn anything from what you read due to your false assumptions and false beliefs. Ted Cruz can no more be a natural born citizen of the United States than an adopted child can be the natural born child of an adoptive mother.

“One says BOTH parents must be born in this country citizens That would preclude Trump.”

Ted Cruz lied and used that lie as a convenient strawman argument at the debate. The actual requirement is for both parents to be U.S. citizens, natural born or naturalized, at the time of the child’s birth in the U.S. jurisdiction. It is a lie to claim that both parents had to be natural born citizens, and such a claim is silly and ridiculous when you take it to its logical conclusion and discover it is an impossibility for all of the parents to be natural born citizens in an unbroken ancestral line into the past generations.

“Cruz mentioned that stupid theory during one of the debates, Trumpers attacked him for it, probably some of the same people were spouting the theory 5 years ago.”

Naturally, Cruz was criticized for using the lie and impossibility as a strawman argument.

“No consistency whatsoever.”

No, that is just yourself displaying your willful ignorance of the fact that Trump’s mother was a naturalized U.S. citizen at the time of his birth, and she was not required to be a natural born citizen of the U.S. in order for him to be a natural born citizen of the U.S.

“It was never about the letter of the law or even the spirit, just about disqualifying people they don’t like.”
No, that is just you making a false portrayal of the argument in contradiction of the facts.

The rule of law does that, so don’t shoot the messenger.

We knew Rubio was big in the pockets of the illegal alien/cheap foreign labor Tech industries, but so is Cruz. Cruz is also benefitting from the $$ scammed from Trump supporters by the NRSC.
