Actions have consequences. Character means willing to accept the full consequences of actions.
The GOP candidate or the Dem candidate is going to be the next President.
if you choose to attack Trump with no regard to how that effects the election and you want to make one of the central points to that argument that a candidate “lacks character” because he fights backs against those who attack him, like the Ricketts, then yes, people are going to question your motivations for your situational morality.
Perfect purity does not exist in politics. If by your actions, you enable a greater evil like Clinton, then yes, they moral base for your arugument has some gaping flaws.
I don't particularly care what people say. People say all kinds of stuff, somethings to placate people, somethings to antagonize or rile up, little white lies to prevent hurt feelings, etc. I watch what they do.
Don't listen to what people say, watch what they do. When it comes to doing things, how has Trump stacked up? That is the test.
Look at the Trump Rallies. Trump has a YUUUUGE following.

I realize we are going to have to elect someone...and I am more than willing to vote for trump should he become the candidate...and it looks like he will.
That does not mean we cannot have reservations or ignore issues.
It just means we vote for the best person who can:
1) Help turn this nation around
2) Disallow the Presidency to progressive/liberal/socialists who will absolutely destroy the nation.
My point to you was the insinuation you made about Joanie, about as strong a conservative, patriotic American, and good Christian woman as you can find...that somehow she had compromised herself 100% for Hillary...when she had done no such thing.

Millions and millions of Americans have individually examined Donald Trump, and have found him imminently qualified to be our next Commander in Chief.
In fact, primary votes and polling results show that a greater number choose and trust Trump over all others in the race.
So why should I give more weight to the opinion of a lone individual posting their disagreement in an internet column? Tell me how this one person’s opinion is more valid than the opinions of tens of millions of my fellow citizens?

True. Hard to question your facts can question those facts.
But even more millions have found Trump to be a snake-oil huckster who specialize in questionable business schemes, who has brags IN PRINT about seducing married women, and who doesn’t know squat about the Bible, military affairs or foreign policy.
But I guess it’s all OK, because he will make America great again.
It may be true that millions of people despise Donald Trump, but there’s no denying that he’s winning the primary vote and dominating the polls.
Logic dictates that the public likes his competitors even less, else they’d be beating him somewhere. Heck, they can’t even beat him at Free Republic, where he’s been winning the nightly caucus since day one.
