"Apart from the fact that judges do not sign bills into law, pro-life attorney Matt Bowman of Alliance Defending Freedom indicates Trump is wrong on the point and that Justice Alito, when he was a lower court justice, not only did not agree with Judge Maryanne Trump Barry on opposing a bill to ban partial-birth abortions he went out of his way to indicate how he disagreed with her.
While some pro-life voters were shocked that Trump continued to defend Planned Parenthood others are shocked that Trump would defend his sister's support for partial-birth abortions by falsely maligning a pro-life Supreme Court Justice who went to great lengths to be on record opposing abortion."
Here’s the whole thing. Trump lied last night. No omission fixes that.
Scott Pelley: What’s your plan for Obamacare?
Donald Trump: Obamacare’s going to be repealed and replaced. Obamacare is a disaster if you look at what’s going on with premiums where they’re up 45, 50, 55 percent.
Scott Pelley: How do you fix it?
Donald Trump: There’s many different ways, by the way. Everybody’s got to be covered. This is an un-Republican thing for me to say because a lot of times they say, “No, no, the lower 25 percent that can’t afford private.” But—
Scott Pelley: Universal health care?
Donald Trump: I am going to take care of everybody. I don’t care if it costs me votes or not. Everybody’s going to be taken care of much better than they’re taken care of now.
Scott Pelley: The uninsured person is going to be taken care of how?
Donald Trump: They’re going to be taken care of. I would make a deal with existing hospitals to take care of people. And, you know what, if this is probably—
Scott Pelley: Make a deal? Who pays for it?
Donald Trump: —the government’s gonna pay for it. But we’re going to save so much money on the other side. But for the most it’s going to be a private plan and people are going to be able to go out and negotiate great plans with lots of different competition with lots of competitors with great companies and they can have their doctors, they can have plans, they can have everything.
You are correct Cruz is using an edited snippet. See post #38.

The same people who are soiling their Depends over this game show host stayed home in 2012 because Romney was a Mormon.I didnât and I wonât in 2016,because The Clintonâs are two of the worst that were ever born in this country.
_________________________________________________________
Trump is worse than Romney almost as bad as clinton and would destroy the conservative brand.
With his negatives and all the lies he has told over the years he is a research opposition groups dream. The rats have a billion to spend on negative ads, hiring foreign workers his hidden tax returns, his lies about what when he supported, mob ties, evicting the little guys for his rich friends.
Trump would be lucky to get 42% in a general election he is a sure loser in the general election .
The trump supporters are delusional.
You are right, the republican party will finally die under a trump presidency. The Tea Party tried to take over the republican party, it has failed. It’s time for the republican party to own up to who they are, Big Government lite.
I never thought i would see a life long liberal democrat become the presidential candidate for the republican party!
The republican party is dead to me and after the primary ‘out of an abundance of hope’ i will change my registration to independent.
It’s time for the Tea Party to recognize that a new conservative small government party will be necessary!
Excuse me - what bill? Judges don't sign bills!
No you didn’t follow it because you posted about single payer when I was responding to dates in relation to Trump’s 2011 Libya comments. The dates of Trump’s comments in context of the Iraqi troop pullout much later that year expose Ted’s lie of omission.
Contextual information Ted omits about Trump’s single payer comments exposes Ted’s lie of omission about Trump’s HC position.
Remember how brilliant Ted is?? He’s using lies of omission to fool even you! Think about it. If someone has to deliberately omit information to make a point the point becomes a lie of omission and not worth making.
And Ted is the one who wrote the book titled “A Time For Truth”. I bought it - I NEVER dreamed I’d see him telling so many lies, half truths and misrepresentations.
And you skipped part of it yourself. Yes, he says the private insurance part is going to be great.
But, IN CONTEXT, he is clearly committing to covering every single person who is uninsured and to have the GOVERNMENT PAY FOR IT. EVERYBODY’S GOING TO BE TAKEN CARE OF.
He lied last night, telling the whole world he never said that. Why are you pretending this didn’t happen. Are you actually in favor of his plan from September? Are you really a conservative or just mad at the world?
Read the last paragraph you posted.
“But for the most itâs going to be a private plan and people are going to be able to go out and negotiate great plans with lots of different competition with lots of competitors with great companies and they can have their doctors, they can have plans, they can have everything.”
Ted is the one who wrote the book titled “A Time For Truth”. Is it too much to expect that he not tell lies?? I bought it - I NEVER dreamed Iâd see him telling so many lies, half truths and misrepresentations.
Oh no! Now I’ll just HAVE to vote for Senior Amnesty or Goldman’s Canadian candidate.
I Believe! /s
Trump LIED about Alito. THAT is the topic...not who appointed who.
Try to focus.
I read it, and posted it several times. But that doesn’t change his commitment to covering every single person that doesn’t have a private plan and having the government pay for it.
No kidding, it’s stunning how many believe Ted’s constant lies, half truths and misrepresentations. Amazing!
Your argument is absurd.
Scatological! He believes nothing, has no core belief system, and will say anything!
They call that a LIE..
A mean nasty Liar that Trump is.
Wrong. In context- most people will have private insurance. The government will work with hospitals and others so that no one will be denied healthcare.
It’s time for Cruz to tell the truth.
There you go again, interjecting facts into the spin. You Cruzers are all alike. Loser. /s
Throwing red herrings on a thread that documents a Trump lie. So transparent.
