Bill Coleman, CEO of Veritas, you are a traitor to the beliefs that America was founded on…

Have you forgotten this belief that allowed you to get to the level that you are at?

life should be better and richer and fuller for everyone, with opportunity for each according to ability or achievement" regardless of social class or circumstances of birth.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Dream

Why are you doing your best to destroy this by denying your own countrymen the opportunity to be all that they can be?

"The entire Silicon Valley believes that the H-1B visa policy needs to be dramatically expanded," Bill Coleman CEO of Veritas told in an interview.

"We can't hire enough good people. They are just not available here. The salaries here are going through the roof, because everybody is competing to hire from everybody else," he said.

The reason you can't hire enough good people is because you refuse to look at Americans in America.

As an example, lets see how the "Foreign Born" that you want to hire are doing.Click to zoom inClick to zoom in

They are getting jobs left and right with people like you insisting on hiring them while turning your back on the Americans that could easily do the jobs given the opportunity.

Now lets see how the American citizens are doing.Click to zoom inClick to zoom in

They are still stuck at the 2007 levels aren't they?

Yes, the lies are coming home to roost in Silicon Valley and yes, I'm calling you destroyers of the American Dream in Silicon Valley nothing but a bunch of traitorous parasites raping and pillaging America at the expense of Americans in America.

Case in point, your next move in this global game of musical countries.

Soon headed to India, where Veritas has about 1,700 people working for it with Pune being a major centre, Coleman said he plans to migrate some of his facilities to India from Florida.

"That is a priority," he said.

H-1B ping. Let me know if you're not on the list and want to be added (or are and want to be removed).

Article is dead on.

These asshats like Coleman also totally ignore the growing facts that people, here have to spend a ton of time fixing code from overseas because it doesn’t work. To tge point many places have stopped using overseas folks because it was taking twice as long to get working code done.

Silicon Valley just doesn't want to pay Americans according to market principles.

So, they adjust the market with H-1b to favor them.

That is ABSOLUTELY TRUE.

Have worked in Santa Clara vally for 30 years and have seen nothing but Americans being laid off and foreign nationals being ushered in to take their place...typically by foreign managers, who spend all their time trying to get their countrymen in the door.

Coleman is a criminal.

Sounds like a Statement just Begging for a Congressional Hearing led by Jeff Sessions and Ted Cruz!!

Maybe more companies should have booze and sex at work:

"The news made the company's trajectory to the 'Unicorn Club' of start-ups valued at $1 billion or more impressively quick, even by Silicon Valley standards. It had annual recurring revenue of $20 million by late last year."

Give them as many H1-Bs as they want, and tax the employer for each so that if they really need a foreigner, they will be glad to pay the premium over a cheaper American.

yes. i’m a late 40’s engineer trying to come back to my industry after these 7 years of Obama have run my small business into the ground. i can’t even get interviews! no matter that i was a really good engineer earlier in my career. the time away from industry, age discrimination, the influx of indentured servants working on H1B visas at 2/3rds the salary of americans, and the complete handing-off of the recruitment process to non-technical twenty-something-year-old women in HR seem to be a toxic mix of circumstances that has lead me to personal financial ruin. i honestly have no idea how i will earn a living anymore. the despair and hopelessness is real. middle class americans are being systematically destroyed. it’s Marxism in action, and hardly anybody seems to be saying anything about it.

Did one of the presidential candidates call for a 500% increase in H1Bs?

My son, a computer engineer in San Jose, just got laid off yesterday—no notice :(

The H-1B Visa situation certainly won’t help him find a new job :/

As part of a poison-pill amendment in 2013.

Sure about that?

500% increase

After listening to that, I can't see why anyone would consider his position a poison pill.

Cruz wanted an increase in H1B visas separate from the poison pill amendment.

This has been true for decades. The articles in the IEEE in the1970s detailed wage gaps and hiring differences that companies did in SV to the American worker. They get away with paying as much as 70 cents on the dollar to foreign workers and laugh all the way to the bank

Oh if you are in Silicon Valley you have hit the magic age

You best bet is one of the government labs, or a really large company (like Hp or GTE or Loral) because any of the Googke, Ebay, Yahoo, Facebook, or startups aint even going to give you a second look
