The other day I wrote a rant fueled by my concerns for the future well being of my children, grandchildren, and fellow countrymen.

I keep receiving requests to keep posting it, or requests to use it elsewhere, and so forth. I truly appreciate the flattery, although find it a bit embarrassing. So to save time and to spare me making individual replies, here is the rant, and my expressed permission to those interested for use anywhere you see fit.

Pizza is the healthiest food ever because it contains the four food groups:

I confess that though I have no dog in this hunt, I’m very concerned about the attitude and argument style of the trump supporters. They remind me if the Obama supporters in 2008 far too much.

Carrie Prejean was Miss California in Trump's beauty pageant.

Trump put his gay attack dog, Perez Hilton, as a judge to the pageant.

In a clear setup, Hilton asked Prejean about gay marriage. She didn't even say she was against making it legal, but she said she believes marriage is between a man and a woman. President Obama was against gay marriage then.

Hilton used this to call her an unprintable name and ruin her reputation.

Trump gave an answer that didn't attack her, but didn't stick up for her. The pageant told her to apoligive and never talk about her faith. (She had been ASKED a specific question.) A month later Trump fired her.

Well Nick, that is a sad tale. I am not sure what I would do except to tell my daughter that there are far more important things to do in life, and that by now she must be well aware that all pageants are but dirty politics. To learn from it, evolve and excel. I say right out that Trump is far from perfection, as is a nuclear weapon, but it still had be used to accelerate victory.
