All the theoretical scenarios being bandied about regarding the 2016 Presidential race are based on the assumption that Hillary Clinton will be the Democrats' candidate for president. I believe this is a case of wishful thinking mixed with intellectual torpor, as I think Hillary Clinton will not be the Democrats’ candidate.
First of all, her negatives and public personae are such that many voters would just as soon eat their ballots than vote for her.
That, however, is the least of her worries. There's the small matter of the FBI investigation into improper use of a private email server to send and receive highly classified documents with national security implications. While conventional wisdom posits that the Justice Department would not dare prosecute the president-in-waiting, I believe this to be a classic bait & switch on the part of the Obama Administration to lull the unsuspecting Clintons into a false sense of security.
The DEMS would like to resurrect Harold Stassen to run again
But then there is the matter of a certain mutant who may decide to run.......
I’m not convinced the Democrats want the presidency in 2016.
There are a lot of bills coming due after the Democrats maxed out our credit cards buying votes for themselves.

I hope Hillary is given the nomination and the Bernie supporters feel cheated (rightfully so) and stay home.
The FBI is probably dealing with more classified emails than anticipated which is complicating the investigation. It doesn’t make sense that Obama is going to pull the rug out from her at the last minute essentially killing the Dems chances.
The show isn’t over until the fat lady is in jail.

I suspect Obama would pardon her, in exchange for Hillary nominating Obama to Supreme Court.
