I love Rush Limbaugh. I'm not afraid to admit it. I am a 30-something Ditto Head. He's one of my heroes, and always will be. Therefore, it pains me to write this, but it must be done. I can't listen to this defense of Marco Rubio as a full-throated conservative any longer without going a little crazy. So, here it goes. Rush, I love you, but you're wrong about Rubio's conservatism, and wrong to think that he has a good chance to win in November.
I feel confident in predicting that millions of conservatives will not vote for Marco Rubio should he become the Republican nominee for President. There are too many conservatives that don't trust him, and refuse to choose between the lesser of two evils yet again. And we are correct in our distrust of Marco Rubio. He is not the conservative he claims to be, and he will lose to Hillary or Bernie because a great enough number of conservatives and tea partiers will stay home rather than vote for him. It's not just the starring role Rubio played in the Gang of Eight, though considering the transformational nature of mass amnesty, it certainly is enough to rule out ever voting for him. It's also his lack of integrity and willingness to lie to us over and over again that will cause so many of us to vote third party, write in a name, or leave it blank in November. Seriously, at least Jeb! is honest and up front about his non-conservative opinions.

I don’t know for sure if Rush has been pushing Rubio or not. The cuts I’ve heard and transcripts I’ve read suggest a lot more tolerance for Rubio than I have.
Men make mistakes. They grow old. Sometimes their judgement fails. As I say, I think Rush is sloppier and more sentimental than he used to be (also more cautious, post-what’s-her-name Fluke), and I don’t listen to or trust him as much as I used to.
But I don’t hate him, don’t curse him. Just don’t think he has the game anymore.
It makes a big different. Trump said they are to get in line, not import them right back. Just another lie that is being spread about Trump.

Upon what are you basing your assumptions that trump is conservative? What has he ever done (not just flapped his lips about) that shows a sincerely held conservative belief. Where are the foundations established with his billions to advance a conservative agenda? Where are the substantive donations to any of the conservative causes?

Maybe it’s time Carender realized that Rush Limbaugh is just a loudspeaker for the RNC and ended the love.

Trump devoted an entire chapter on the dangers of illegal immigration in his book published in 2011, “Time to Get Tough - Making America #1 Again”.

As Phyllis Schafly has pointed out Rubio has already shown himself to be a bald-faced liar, and that was merely at the state level.
With all the pressures and levers and toys of the presidency, Rubio could be a Obama-grade disaster.

The problem with Trump is he wants to deport the illegal ( at great cost) only to expedite them back into the country. That is creating millions of new Democrat voters.
