Trump: "Ted Cruz Didn't Win Iowa, He Stole It;" Cruz Committed Voter Fraud
iOTW Report ^ | 2/3/16 | Aurelius

Posted on 02/03/2016 6:33:10 AM PST by rightistight

Accusing Senator Ted Cruz of voter fraud, Donald Trump today argued that Mr. Cruz "stole" the election in Iowa.

"That is why all of the polls were so wrong, and why he got far more votes than anticipated," Mr. Trump said on Twitter, suggesting no one predicted that Mr. Cruz would win:

Ted Cruz didn't win Iowa, he stole it. That is why all of the polls were so wrong and why he got far more votes than anticipated. Bad!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 3, 2016

Mr. Trump then went further, saying Mr. Cruz committed fraud, suggesting that Cruz's campaign suggesting that Ben Carson would drop out amounted to fraud, as did his campaign's mailers about "voting violations:"

Many people voted for Cruz over Carson because of this Cruz fraud. Also, Cruz sent out a VOTER VIOLATION certificate to thousands of voters.— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 3, 2016

The Voter Violation certificate gave poor marks to the unsuspecting voter(grade of F) and told them to clear it up by voting for Cruz. Fraud— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 3, 2016

It was Cruz’ operatives that joined in it on the ground.

When I said it is becoming clear that the character of the Cruz people is undesirable, it doesn’t mean one incident.

Perception of telltale character traits is a strength here.

“Based on the fraud committed by Senator Ted Cruz during the Iowa Caucus, either a new election should take place or Cruz results nullified.— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 3, 2016”

Trump has lost his mind! What a jerk!

Not accepting defeat and questioning the results, are we so attuned to losing that we can’t recognize how to defend ourselves and win?

We’ve been PC ed to death and taught to celebrate getting a “participation trophy”.

No thanks.

Yep I suspected it all along especially when I heard his mom made him eat Log Cabin maple syrup on his pancakes - like every day!

Seriously, my hair stylist said she's seen cases like Mr Trump who put too much orange hair dye on their hair. It seeps into their brains and causes brain damage like this!

“This kind of sh*t won’t win Donald the nomination. I guess he’s going scorched earth. Say hello to president Rubio.”

Exactly, my first thought when I read these Trump tweets...being a sore loser is not surprising and will not help him in other states....

Donald needs a new line of attack since the Illinois Dept. of Elections declared Cruz to be a natural born citizen...

Trump may also be ratcheting up to go 3rd party with the argument that he has not been treated fairly...

It was fraud.

Cruz apologized for the first.

The Secretary of State of Iowa confirmed the other.

Go eat your little cracker. Take your little sip of wine.

You and Donald don’t need forgiveness - as you bitterly lash out with lies and animosity against Christians.

Re: Trump, you said: “I’ve listened to every one of his speeches, at every rally, and it occurs to me why he doesn’t need a TelePrompTer...it’s the same thing, over and over. At some point he needs to stop cheerleading, and get serious.”

I could not agree more! Said perfectly!!!!

I’ve listened to every one of his speeches, at every rally, and it occurs to me why he doesn’t need a TelePrompTer...it’s the same thing, over and over.

In all fairness, all politicians (and anyone who frequently speaks to crowds) tend repeat the same spiel over and over.

The difference, I think is command of the details of the issues. There is a video of Cruz in a sidebar dealing with a hostile Iowa farmer floating around. In it Cruz exhibits IMO a remarkable understanding of the minutiae of the Ethanol issue. Personally, that is what I want in a candidate.

> “How do Carson’s voters going to Cruz mean a net positive for Trump?”

Carson voters were steered to the Cruz contingent based on a lie. The percentage may have been significant enough to put Cruz on top. Carson is popular with evangelical voters.

Let me ask you a question...

I see from your posts you prefer Trump.

So I’m sure you are also condemning the way Trump personally attacked Carson???? Correct???

Trump shamelessly attacked Carson about...
Being a not so great surgeon, made fun of his childhood stories in his book, made fun of his religious experience, and used the word child molester when talking about Carson.

While what the Cruz campaign did, could be called a dirty trick (Cruz apologized)....that is nothing compared to what Trump did to Carson.
As you know, when Trump attacked Carson like that in Iowa, that was the point in which Carson started dropping in the polls.

So please, show your outrage for the way Trump personally attacked Carson.
Thanks

I didn’t blast Cruz. I blasted his operatives.

And he is responsible for their actions.

“Trump needs to learn the art of graciousness, and stop the whining.”

In this case, “whining” = “standing up for yourself”. That’s what people have said they want in a President, after years of Bush, etc., rolling over after being attacked.

So, when the music stops, what’s the deal? Stand up for yourself or roll over? People need to decide if they really do want a fighter in the White House.

As my girlfriend said, he also needs to stop wearing goggles into the suntan booths. Those white circles surrounded by his orange head are not very becoming.

For whatever it is worth, I still think Trump is our best chance to save what is left of our Republic.

I see him as a flawed man, but so are all the others, just in different ways. Voting for Trump represents some risk, but in my opinion, the risk of voting for any of the others seems a greater risk.

We should not select the candidate we prefer based on our “feelings”, but on careful reasoning, taking into consideration what skills are required to turn the sinking ship of state around, to avoid running aground.
