Fox News, you’ve just been Trumped
Love him or hate him you’ve got to admire The Donald’s style. It’s not like he hasn’t made it perfectly clear: if you eff with him he will eff with you.
So when Fox put out a pre-debate snarky comment about Trump yesterday:
"We learned from a secret back channel that the Ayatollah and Putin both intend to treat Donald Trump unfairly when they meet with him if he becomes president. A nefarious source tells us that Trump has his own secret plan to replace the Cabinet with his Twitter followers to see if he should even go to those meetings."
he pulled out of the debate. Well played: who needs to hear from all these guys again anyway when there’s only 3 real contenders and what new do they have to say anyway? The debates are now more for the benefit of the media than the voters. And Fox gave The Donald the perfect excuse to decline to participate by making it more about Fox News in general rather than Megyn Kelly in particular.
Plus he’ll be holding a competing event that will benefit veterans and wounded warriors. Maybe Fox can cover that too, to make up for the ratings they’ll be losing on the debate.
The crew at Fox probably should have read The Art of the Deal, they would have discovered how Trump likes to use leverage. Or at least they should have watched a few episodes of The Apprentice where they would have discovered that he loves to fire people.
The Trump haters will be relishing what they consider Trump’s latest childish tantrum butt they just don’t get it. The Donald just demonstrated how you make America great again: you simply don’t take crap from anybody. So pay attention Putin, Xi Jinping, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei; payback is hell,
- and President Trump likes nothing better than payback.

I don’t watch the debates. The panel tries to embarrass GOP candidates and they assume the position kneeling in front of democratic candidates. I won’t watch the Hillary and Bernie show at all. Waste of time

Trump did the right thing to avoid the Fox ambush set-up.
Question:
How is ABC News responding and how will it affect the scheduled Feb 6th NH debate?
Does ABC News have legal recourse against Fox if their debate is canceled or has lost revenue due to the actions of Fox?
I was listening to Mark Levin yesterday when Ted Cruz called in. They talked about having a debate with maybe Levin, Limbaugh, and Hannity.
I like Cruz, Trump, Limbaugh, and Levin, but can live without Hannity.
Mark Levin was all for it but said there were people he despised and would not give his airtime to just any moderator.
It appears that Trump has his tolerance and Levin has his tolerance.
But I guess it doesn’t matter since Davos said Hillary will be our next president.
Fox got caught trying to set up a road side bomb in effect, now the wailing begins.

Whats so apalling is they were bringing in Muslims, hoping to finally trip up Trump.

In other news, NFL referees have decided to do everything they can to keep the Denvef Broncos from winning the Super Bowl. The head official said, “The Denver Broncos are mean!”
The Denver Broncos have decided not to attend the Super Bowl and instead will hold a scrimmage game that will benefit orphans.
Other NFL teams that have lost to Denver responded by calling the Broncos a bunch of crybabies and quitters who would have lost anyway.
The NFL has invited all of the losing teams to participate in one big Super Super Bowl.
Fox has been outed as the a television unit of the uniparty effort to “Stop Trump”. No different then MSNBC. In fact MSNBC has Morning Joe so I’d say MSNBC is better at real news and annalist then Fox News.
No. Knowing this, Trump could have prepared for them and made a real statement. Instead he ran away.
We will see how this plays out. He’s made things interesting if nothing else.
He didn't run away. He decided he wasn't going to play their silly game. Fox needs Trump way more than Trump needs Fox.
No. I don't "got to" admire anything about "The Donald" and the longer this narcissistic blowhard throws his toddler tantrums, the more I hold him in similar regard as the current narcissist-in-chief squatting at 1600.
I look forward to watching the debate where serious candidates with real policies and positions (not bought and paid for written by others) will hopefully be given a chance to present and debate them.

I think Fox will be just fine without Trump. Somehow they’ve survived without him to this point. Quite honestly the cult of personality is quite shocking to me. Especially considering this is a conservative forum and we tend to be free rational thinkers.
I’m skipping it. I skipped the last one, too. Too much fake hooey debate overload with egotistical moderators and candidates who can’t win Dog Catcher.
