Why is Donald Trump afraid of Megyn Kelly?
Blasting News ^ | Jan 26, 2016 | Mark R. Whittington

One of the strangest battles of Election 2016 is not Donald Trump vs. Ted Cruz or Hillary Clinton vs. Bernie Sanders, or even Jeb Bush vs. Marco Rubio. The squabble everyone is talking about pits Trump, the mercurial businessman who wants to be president of the United States, and Megyn Kelly, the rising star of Fox News and one of the most fearsome interviewers on the airwaves

Because he would like to avoid her having a pulpit to preach by her fashioning questions that might sound like questions but are designed to embarrass and denigrate.

I find it very interesting that, she has pointed questions... some might say gotcha questions, and the response is to instantly call her “slut, Bimbo, tart, and any number of derogatory terms based on her gender.” When have we gotten to a point where this is acceptable in our culture. Do I think that some of the questions from the first debate were gotcha questions?.... Yes, but I don’t go around slandering a lady in that way. I would say that we as Men should take great care with what we say, that is another reason why I look very skeptically at Trump, because even Rosie O’Donnell for all her political agenda, deserves respect.

No, Kelly isn’t running for president.

She’s running to be ruining the president. TRUMP.

Megyn Kelly wastes everyone’s time with inane Reality TV questions when people are concerned about the economy and terrorism.

HAHAHA!

Trump loves the fawning he gets from Joe and Mika on MSNBC.

Like when he tells them he will make deals with Dems, Mika swoons in response.

He is her new Chris Christie.

That is what enraged me about the first debate.
The kiddy hour went off pretty good, but the main event was a cluster screw because the “moderators” had an agenda from the get go.
I feel that the FOX folks wanted to land KO punches on Cruz and Trump and soft peddle JEB.

Ask one question, let everyone have equal time to answer then on to the next question.
Not hard to do.
The average fifth grader could handle it.

If Megyn were a man, she’d be toast. Unfortunately, Trump has to tip-toe somewhat around the attractive feminist blonde. If she states an untruth though, the glove will come off and she’ll have blood coming from... whatever.

RE:”He wants to be surrounded by fawning, sycophants”

Like Joe and Mika on MSNBC

They fawn all over him.

That is why he is on there regularly.

Today he told them that he can work with Dems in congress.

Mika is in love again. Joe too.

This is what is presented as 'hard-hitting' journalism from Ms. Kelly during the first GOP debate:

Kelly (to Trump): "You've called women fat pigs, dogs, slobs, disgusting animals. Your Twitter account has several --"

Trump: "Only Rosie O'Donnell."

Game. Set. Match.

Once upon a time, in the long ago and far away, FReepers would guffaw at the source of this "article."

Why don't we go back to that stuff?

Afraid? He’s turned-off by her lack of professionalism and by making it personal rather than political. She and the entire Fox team wasted our time with this debate. It was a total disgrace - including Wallace and Bair. I doubt this one will be any better.

Trump is just driving up their viewership.

I think he has his own “October surprise” for Thursday night.

...Would it be rational to let Hillary be the moderator of the Republican debate?

The moderator is to be neutral not a partisan

We complain for years that our guys don't call out the bias reporters and fight back....now you get mad when one guy does fight back and gets right in a bias reporters face...and you dont like it because you don't happen to like the guy fighing back?....

or are you going tell us Ms Kelly has a professional neutral unbiased position towards Trump?

If she wants I'm sure he will have a one on one debate with her so she can not hide behind the farce she a “neutral” reporter or debate moderator

It’s not Trump vs. Kelly, it’s Trump vs. Ailes. Roger Ailes wants an establishment Republican - Bush, Rubio, Kasich, etc. Someone that won’t upset the apple cart. Trump is anything but, and he knows that (so far) Ailes’ crew has been set on undermining him.

PLUS, it plays well for Trump to be anti-FOX, because then he can’t be labeled as a puppet of the right. Since Fox News launched, it has been under constant attack from the left for having the gall to offer new programming from an alternate perspective. After all, prior to Fox News and the internet, the “news” was under the monopoly control of liberals at the helms of the NYT, Washington Post, Gannett, AP, NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, MSNBC & NPR. Lots of outlets for one voice. Trump will get more fair treatment from these others so long as he’s joined the anti-Fox choir.

Of course that will all end if/when he gets the nomination. The party will necessarily rally around him; Fox will love him (and he, them); and the liberal main-stream media will discover a new-found hatred of the Donald.

He’s not afraid. More than a little thin skinned, but not afraid.

It has been a couple days and Trump hasn’t been the center of the media’s attention. So by once again playing the victim card everyone pays attention to him and he gets free advertising. It helps that FNC will probably cave in to his whining and give him his way again. Hell the man could demand that the debate moderators give him and no one else the questions ahead of time.
