As does the word “Butchers”.
Nah, it’s all part of the euphemism game as played by both sides. What started out as anti-abortion sounded too negative, so pro-life was adopted. Pro-choice was coined to counter pro-life, and so the dance goes on.
It should be ‘pro legalized abortion’ and ‘anti legalized abortion’
This is a little off topic but today on CNN a reporter in D.C. commented several times about demonstrators there but never once stated that they were pro-life - apparently she only mentioned them since she had no choice, the screen showing them behind her. Then the host, Ashley Banfield kept referring to them as “tourists.” Their weird efforts to ignore the purpose of the demonstration were obvious.
Pro Death
Ok, but pro-life is more accurate and honest than pro-choice, which as a label for the left is, of course, a flat out lie.
Not really. Pro-choice is a woman’s right to choose whether she is going to carry a pregnancy to term. Pretty straight forward.
Didja ever stop to consider how many so-called “Pro-Lifers” also support capital punishment? Ironic, don’tcha think?
No. One protects the innocent, the other punishes the guilty who end up on death row because they took a life.
I know people who think there’s a contradiction think they’re being cute, but it’s ridiculous and sad more than anything.
No, it’s not straight forward. Straight forward is calling it pro-abortion.
