Not the best wording for that headline. Because it’s only the wussy GOP RINO leadership, liberals, lefties, ISIS, and KGB Putin supporters who should fear him.

Our Man Ted has to beat The Donald first, before he can go after Hitlery.
He needs to convince enough broadly conservative voters that he has the FIGHT & the BALLS to do battle.
So far, it seems a bit squishy.
The Donald said he would “bomb The S*it of of ‘em”.
Where is Our Man Ted’s “fire-in-the-belly”?

Ted Cruz has Bible-based values and lives them. He also alludes to the need for God’s will as guidance for government. Trump almost never mentions God or the need for God’s counsel. They REALLY hate Cruz.

I don’t think Donald Trump fears “Surging Ted.” Maybe he would if he could see him, but nah don’t think so.
Oh and when the next poll comes out showing that “Surging Ted” is ONLY 25 points back that will serve as PROOF to his supporters that Trump fears him.

As Rush says: Real conservatism works every time it’s tried. That’s what the establishment doesn’t like. GOPe isn’t against big government; it simply prefers a different flavor of big government than the Democrats do. Cruz holds to the limited government found in the US Constitution, so he’s hated by both sides. And loved by conservatives.

So their strategy is to send out trusted surrogates to trash the candidate and place the seed of doubt in voter's minds (and big money backers) that a Cruz nomination will surely equal a Hillary win. A lot of Trumpkins have been making that same claim on this site.
