Is Ted Cruz too mean to be president?
Being nice is, for better or worse, not a qualification for the presidency. âNiceâ is not a term one often heard associated with Lyndon Johnson or Richard Nixon, both â in their ways, and with obvious limits â highly effective presidents.
But I donât remember reading quotes about either Nixon or Johnson from those close to them describing them as unqualified for the presidency on account of being just too mean, too arrogant and too self-centered.
After all, most nice people are not nearly so in love with the sound of their own voices as most politicians are; most of us donât crave the adoration most politicians do; and frankly, being nice is often not consistent with the willingness to use people and then jettison them when they become a liability, which has become a hallmark of modern politics....

Obama is mean too, but for the wrong reasons.

Susan’s comments are just plain juvenile, whiney and petty.
And .. I’d rather have a “mean” president than a cowardly, back-stabbing president, like the one we have now .. which I’m sure Susan voted for.

What most liberals call being “mean” is just telling the truth. Political correctness is nice to them because it puts truth secondary to feeling good about yourself, whatever it is you’re doing. It’s replacing right and wrong with what feels good and what doesn’t. But without truth, there can also be no love.

Susie Estrogen is still around? I thought she slithered off to a booth in some dive bar years ago, chain-smoking Pall Malls and downing double bourbons on the rocks......

One man spent his free time writing frightening, NRA-loving, hate-filled screeds on Facebook about the otherâs religion. The other proved that what he wrote was accurate.

which I'm sure Susan voted for.
That's the problem. Not that obumber is president, but that we have a citizenry that would elect him. I don't see how we overcome that. Even a Trump and/or Cruz presidency could fix that.

However, it turns out that the DemocRAT party is in the midst of dying. They are deeeeeeeply in debt; all their candidates are in their 60’s or close to it .. and there are no young DemocRATS to replace them.
So, the conservative voting block will do very well this election.
