Media Bias: The mainstream press likes to say it is the guardian of truth, protecting the masses from bogus information on the Web. But in the wake of the San Bernardino shooting, it was the one peddling it.

I don’t blame the media. They were doing what they do.

I do blame the media. It was not news it was constant democrap propaganda. Now we are getting constant gun control propaganda. That is not news that is nothing but trying to reset American minds against their freedoms so dems can control the people. What they are aiming for worked so well in the past with the National Socialist.

We have sedition, not a media.

Right behind Obama is the old media as America’s number 1 enemy. Trump is helping to nail these bastards to the wall of hate America first.

Obama certainly seems to believe the hype about himself, and is probably shocked that some of his supporters failed in their re-election bids. Sane, rational people are shocked that Obama himself WAS re-elected.

Besides the enormous visible damage done to this country, the Obama presidency has cemented the “soft bigotry of lowered expectations” into our culture & legal system; the left and their media have made it very clear that there will be NO conversation on race.

The fake 355 mass shootings was eagerly repeated by both my area tv stations. No mention of gangbangers or radical Muslims.

They want it to seem like every place has the same risk of violence. So let's grab those guns now. That's their objective.

If this had not happened we might not have ever known that there was no effort to obtain fingerprints.

Now we need the answer as to who ordered them to stand down on dusting that apartment.

The media is actively working for the implementation of sharia in this country, along with the democrat party.

from the article: "That's why official mass shooting numbers are magnitudes lower than the phony 355 paraded by the press.

"Writing in the opinion section of the New York Times, Mark Follman, an editor at the liberal Mother Jones magazine, notes that 'we have compiled an in-depth, open-source database covering more than three decades of public mass shootings.
By our measure, there have been four 'mass shootings' this year, including the one in San Bernardino.'

"That the mainstream press could get from four to 355 is a testament its complete surrender to the Democratic Party agenda, and its eagerness to inflame, rather than inform, the public about gun violence."

By my count, those mass shootings include:

  1. Charleston, SC, June 17, Dylan Roof killed nine Christians during Wednesday evening Bible study.
    Motive: race war.

  2. Chattanooga, TN, July 6, Mohamad Abdulazez killed six including four marines, wounded two others.
    Motive: jihad.

  3. Colorado Springs, November 27, Robert Dear opened fire on a Planned Parenthood facility, killing three, wounding nine.
    Motive: anti-abortion.

  4. San Bernadino, CA, December 2, Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik opened fire on a Christmas party, killing nine, wounding 21.
    Motive: jihad.

Our own domestic mass-shooters can be largely blamed on a failed mental-health system, which cannot identify or restrict potentially dangerous patients.

But half the 2015 mass shootings came from jihadies, US citizens, radicalized somehow, somewhere, never identified as potential problems.

The butt-ugliness of jihad-wifey will undoubtedly spawn theories in the media that the Western preference for beauty in its women (naturally) caused them to jihadishness.

No, really. Mark yer calendars -- I'll bet you hear it within a week.

800,000 guns bought this weekend.

“FORTY FIVE YEARS OF ANTI-GUN TV SCRIPTS SHOT TO HELL! What am I gonna tell the President!”

To paraphrase Burgess Meridith in THERE WAS A CROOKED MAN.

Good gun quotes pages.

http://catb.org/~esr/guns/quotes.html

The right of the citizens to keep and bear arms has justly been considered as the palladium of the liberties of a republic; since it offers a strong moral check against usurpation and arbitrary power of rulers; and will generally, even if these are successful in the first instance, enable the people to resist and triumph over them.”
— Supreme Court Justice Joseph Story of the John Marshall Court

“One of the ordinary modes, by which tyrants accomplish their purposes without resistance, is, by disarming the people, and making it an offense to keep arms.”
— Constitutional scholar Joseph Story, 1840

False is the idea of utility that sacrifices a thousand real advantages for one imaginary or trifling inconvenience; that would take fire from men because it burns, and water because one may drown in it; that has no remedy for evils except destruction. The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes.
— Cesare Beccaria, as quoted by Thomas Jefferson’s Commonplace book

I do have a concern about the motive with regards to your #3, Robert Dear at the PP facility.

1) The quote about the “no more baby parts” attributed to Dear came from an unnamed source, apparently during a long and rambling statement from Dear.

2) Dear was inside the facility but did not harm any patients or staff at the facility.

3) He was shooting FROM the facility, not AT the facility.

4) Unlike the San Bernardino shooting, we have heard very little about Dear or the shooting since it happened.

Until we hear more from/about Dear, I am suspicious of the mainstream media's portrayal of this shooting. It may very well be that he had a beef with PP, but we don't have enough information to make that determination.

"Until we hear more from/about Dear, I am suspicious of the mainstream media's portrayal of this shooting."

Totally agree, thanks for pointing it out.
Since I hadn't heard any new information, just "assumed" original story must be accurate.

It would be nice to learn the truth.

And it keep getting repeated. The opinion section of today's Dallas Morning News had at least two letters quoting the same lie.

Having difficulty with the comment links (They keep booting me back to the thread instead of a comment window, so I'll comment here.)

Not only did the C-SPAN call-in segement this morning had the 355 number, but they pulled some Williamsburg actor to tell us what Thomas Jefferson thought of the Second Amendment. The comment was made that during when the Second Amendment was written there was a threat of tyranny, but that there wasn't today.

It doesn't get much more bassackwards than that.

When the Second Amendment was written, the war with Britain had been won, the Articles of Confederation were failing and had been replaced by a proposed Constitution. That Constitution would not pass without at least some of the first ten ratified Amendments known today as the Bill of Rights.

Today, we couldn't be much farther from original intent, while then it was still fresh in the minds and practice of most.

What is really irritating about the SB shootings is that after announcing the shootings, instead of reporting on the shooters and their possible motives, the tv news stations immediately started in on King Barack's gun grabbing agenda.

In short, they reporting it as just a typical shooting by a typical American gun nut(s). I went to their website to complain, but they didn't have the comments section ready.
