"Writing in the opinion section of the New York Times, Mark Follman, an editor at the liberal Mother Jones magazine, notes that 'we have compiled an in-depth, open-source database covering more than three decades of public mass shootings.
By our measure, there have been four 'mass shootings' this year, including the one in San Bernardino.'
"That the mainstream press could get from four to 355 is a testament its complete surrender to the Democratic Party agenda, and its eagerness to inflame, rather than inform, the public about gun violence."
By my count, those mass shootings include:
Our own domestic mass-shooters can be largely blamed on a failed mental-health system, which cannot identify or restrict potentially dangerous patients.
But half the 2015 mass shootings came from jihadies, US citizens, radicalized somehow, somewhere, never identified as potential problems.
1) The quote about the “no more baby parts” attributed to Dear came from an unnamed source, apparently during a long and rambling statement from Dear.
2) Dear was inside the facility but did not harm any patients or staff at the facility.
3) He was shooting FROM the facility, not AT the facility.
4) Unlike the San Bernardino shooting, we have heard very little about Dear or the shooting since it happened.
Until we hear more from/about Dear, I am suspicious of the mainstream media's portrayal of this shooting. It may very well be that he had a beef with PP, but we don't have enough information to make that determination.
