America is in the grip of a crisis, namely a shortage of normal people. Evidence indicates that the population of kooks and freaks is rapidly increasing, and there are simply not enough sane people to keep the weirdos under control. Especially among the under-30 demographic, the United States is struggling to cope with the proliferation of dangerous perverts, drug addicts, psychotics and Ivy League liberal arts majors:
A student at Columbia University is urging the school to inject more diversity into its required courses, claiming she suffered severe emotional trauma from reading too many books by and about white people. Columbia students and faculty gathered Wednesday night for a panel discussion on “Race, Ethnicity, and University Life.†. . .
One of the panelists at the event was black Columbia student Nissy Aya. Aya was supposed to graduate in 2014, but instead is only on track to receive her degree in 2016. That, Aya says, demonstrates “how hard it has been for me to get through this institution†. . .
Aya attributed some of her academic troubles to the trauma of having to take Columbia’s current Core Curriculum, which requires students to take a series of six classes with a focus on the culture and history of Western, European civilization. . . .
“It’s traumatizing to sit in Core classes,†she said. “We are looking at history through the lens of these powerful, white men. I have no power or agency as a black woman, so where do I fit in?â€
If you can afford to attend Columbia University (annual tuition $51,008), you are not an oppressed victim of society. A student at an elite university who believes she is being “traumatized†by the curriculum is delusional — she is demented, deranged, mad, zany, wacky, off her rocker....

Long ago a gf invited me to celebrate Thanksgiving with her friends in the country. After a long slow drive in blinding snow we arrived at the cabin. Entering, my nose told me it was not going to be a traditional TG meal. Found the friends were still full bore insane vegans from school days. Sure enough, tofu turkey, two kinds of plain boiled squash and plain mashed turnips with a gray rye crust sour cherry pie ended the meal. Nasty, nasty, nasty. Had to sneak out in the snow to grab left over road trip snacks that night.

Try saying a boy is a boy and a girl is a girl and you can not turn one into the other by thinking magical thoughts and see how quickly you are chastised and made fun of until you conform.
Don't fall into the trap of thinking they are "non-conformist". They are trapped in a ideology that is ridged beyond anything we have seen thus far on planet earth because it has no basis in reality.

The great thing about those who espouse a completely animal-free diet is that they'll lack the edge in strength when it counts in a societal revolution. Might not even be able to pull a heavy trigger of one of those icky guns.

Sure. And they're the only generation that does. The ones who support this crap do so because their parents either filled their heads with crap or let the public schools do it for them.

Congrats on having a successful Millenial, I have three myself. We’re the rare exceptions.
I have four kids. The oldest is working towards his teaching certificate in history. The second has a 4.0 in his senior year at a poly sci degree, with his eye on politics or a law degree. The only girl is a high school senior with an interest in becoming a Shakespearean actor (I know, but she is very good). The youngest boy is in junior ROTC and wants to be a pilot or law enforcement officer.
All are conservative, straight, Christian.
So, yes. They are weirdos.
