A self proclaimed "internet personality" and "pastor" posted a video that said the red Starbucks holiday cups mean that they hate Jesus and Christmas and it went viral. That's the extent of the "outrage". But it's being played up as if a lot of Christians are upset because it makes Christians look like stupid petty fools. There you go. Manufactured story to make Christians look stupid. That's the short and tall of it.
Who is this "internet personality"? I think we should find out. The news is awash with this story and facebook is as well.
I think this is my first time posting. Please be gentle. But I'm outraged by the way this is playing out. Thanks.
I think the president of Starbucks should resign.
After all, feelings were hurt and this is now the American tradition.
I’m concluding nobody was outraged, just that there’s a continent that wants to insult a stereotype of Christians and made up a scenario so they could do so regardless if whether anyone was.
Continent = contingent.
Darn autocorrect.
I think that’s exactly what happened.
The idiot who picked this fight is no better than the liberals who claimed to be offended by everything under the sun.
There are lots of reasons to dislike the leading corporate purveyor of liberal bullsh*t and overpriced pretentious poser juice . The red cup is not one of them.
Then go hide in the bathroom so they have to yell it out repeatedly.

If Christianity is going to be defined and somehow hurt by a coffee cup from Starbucks...Well....
You are right.
It is a big fake.
Ginned up out of nothing to make Christians look dumb.
Indeed. This is a manufactured movement. I’m outraged by those that find the cross or a manger scene too “offensive” for them to tolerate.
Not a fan of Satrbucks going back 20 years, but that is another issue. I saw their new red cup with green starbucks logo. Red and Green, traditional Christmas colors. I dunno, I thought it looked nice. Heck its a coffee cup, whats the deal here?
Goodness, I used to wear an orange spotted smock just like the one in the bottom gif.
Oddly, since I spent about 3 years working in various 7-11s, I cannot stand shopping at those stores.
Mike Hunt works well also
Your first post is a success! Keep them coming.
This whole thing seems to be contrived to bring out an overreaction to a non-issue. That overreaction is then turned on conservatives and Christians in general.
I’ve always thought something was weird about the whole Starbucks drama. The previous cups were decorated with stars, poinsettias and snowmen. What does that have to do with Christianity? If you want to boycott Starbucks, then do it over their anti-2nd Amendment policies that turn their shops into “gun free zones,” aka “target rich environments” that endanger their customers.
