Right-Wing Domestic Terrorism

Delivering remarks on domestic terrorism at an event co-sponsored by the George Washington University’s program on extremism and the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), Assistant Attorney General John P. Carlin announced on Wednesday the creation of a new position within the Department of Justice (DOJ) aimed at investigating violent extremism.

“We are here to talk about combating domestic terrorism, which the FBI has explained as ‘Americans attacking Americans based on U.S.-based extremist ideologies.’ The threat ranges from individuals motivated by anti-government animus, to eco-radicalism and racism,” stated Carlin. He continued, “Homegrown violent extremists can be motivated by any viewpoint on the full spectrum of hate. Anti-government views, racism, bigotry, anarchy and other despicable beliefs. When it comes to hate and intolerance, no single ideology governs. Carlin then went on to mention the following, “as our SPLC colleagues can attest, racial hatred motivates many of the violent extremist attacks. The Attorney General noted this summer that these kinds of hate crimes are the original domestic terrorism. Among domestic extremist movements active in the United States, white supremacists are the most violent.”

The new position at the Justice Department, dubbed the “Domestic Terrorism Counsel,” will serve as the main point of contact for U.S. attorney offices nationwide and will identify “trends across cases, help shape strategy and analyze legal gaps that need to be closed,” stated Carlin. Yet, as Leo Hohmann of World Net Daily writes, “while the FBI has confirmed it has active ISIS investigations in all 50 states and Islamic-inspired attacks have occurred in recent years in Chattanooga, Tennessee; Garland, Texas, and Fort Hood, the Justice Department sees Islamic jihadists as no more dangerous than mentally ill actors. In fact, Hohmann notes “Justice officials have indicated that home-grown ‘right wingers’ are possibly more numerous and dangerous than the jihadists."

Mentally ill actors aren’t usually good at co-ordinating with other people for a massive attack. (Actor joke here.)

Hohmann’s segue, or the writer’s?

Are ‘right wingers’ mentally ill? Or is there a world-wide movement, or nation-wide movement, however loosely co-ordinated, sworn to violent means to a triumphalist end?

If a shooting war starts I hope that the parasitic class knows that patriots will be coming for them first. If it comes to a head and there is civil war there will be violence in every state, county, and city. In the information age nobody would be a noncombatant; no federal politician, law-enforcement officer, official, or employee will be immune or protected. How easy would it be for rebels to acquire the employment data of all federal officials from the Chinese? If the Left's will to power so strong they want to bet it all on war with deaths in the millions with no guarantee of success that'son them.

In 1861 the combined population of the North and the South was roughly 31 million. At the end of the war there were approximately 620,000 soldiers dead from combat, accident, starvation, and disease. Regarding the death toll of civilians, the most comprehensive examination of civilian war deaths throughout history is by William Eckhardt,[9] in which Eckhardt states:

“On the average, half of the deaths caused by war happened to civilians, only some of whom were killed by famine associated with war...The civilian percentage share of war-related deaths remained at about 50% from century to century.”

Adding 310,000 civilian deaths to the 620,000 military deaths we get roughly 910,000 total dead from the Civil War. If a civil war of similar ferocity happened today with 10 times the population (330 million) the death toll could reasonably reach 9.1 million. Is the communist Left so in love with marxism and raw power that they would risk being the majority of that 9.1 million?

Also, who is to say that a civil war in America would not draw in other belligerents? Might the close ties to Mexico and Canada pull them into the war? Mexico has long dreamed of seizing the American Southwest in what they have called the Reconquista. Would Russia try to carve away Alaska? Would China attempt to seize Hawaii and our territories in the Pacific?

A civil war in modern America would also be a race war. The current government under Obama or any other Democratic president would have to increasingly conscript the 3rd world immigrant populations that are heavily concentrated in urban areas for troops and, if the war lasted long enough, the white population would become rebels./p> America has also changed drastically since the Civil War. In the Civil War the North had an overwhelming industrial and population advantage which is no longer the case today. The only real advantage the left would have is control of major ports. The rebels would have the majority of the private fire arms and the knowledge on how to use them effectively in an insurgency. guns; gun ownership is very heavy in the southeast, the southwest, the Intermountain West, and flyover country. Also in a war where everyone is fighting and everything is confused all industrial and military assets are open to both sides. Leftists must also keep in mind that Obama is Shit-Midas - everything he touches turns to crap. The average American has watched the federal government kill American citizens and is ready to fight back. They watched the Waco massacre in Texas, the murders at Ruby Ridge, and other federal law-enforcement atrocities and they are ready to react. The Bundy Ranch standoff that resulted in hundreds of heavily armed citizens coming from all over the country defend a rancher from the BLM and forcing them to standdown freaked out a lot of people in government. The average American has begun to despise the federal government. Just a cautionary warning to the left before they attempt to double-down on tyranny.

Though the DOJ recently furnished the documents with Lynch’s fake name, the records were part of Judicial Watch’s original 2015 FOIA request. The records also show that then Assistant Attorney General John Carlin touted SCN at an event sponsored by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), an extremist leftist group that helped a gunman commit an act of terrorism against a conservative organization. A year later Carlin would launch the Michael Flynn counterintelligence investigation and seek the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant now in question.
