So, how is it the fault of Ted Cruz that McCarthy admitted he is not leadership material?

Ben Carson for Speaker of the House.

Carson would be a better president than speaker. Quite a bit of the president's job is what I call just "being the president." When you are being the president, you do things like pardon turkeys for Thanksgiving, welcome sports teams, console America when space shuttles blow up, kiss babies, and generally be the face of America. This isn't a trivial part of the job. Both Reagan and Clinton were good at this, which is why both are still loved. For that job, I absolutely think Carson would be great, possibly the best out of any candidate. I don't think he has enough experience in the other areas of the president's job, but he would be great at being a president that citizens can look up to, and he can sign things congress sends him.

But for speaker, we are getting just now getting rid of a guy who just wanted the position without doing anything. We need a fighter who can successfully defund the left and push things through. This requires a high degree of legal and procedural knowledge, plus guts to follow through. I don't see Carson as that. (But I do think Scott Walker would do well. He rammed legislation through when drama queen protesters were occupying the capital building, and other republicans were ready to cave. )

Just getting rid of the impediments to bringing Hillary Clinton to trial.

Hillary will go “scorched earth” on this, so you have to take those reasons away from her.

I stopped completely after the first debate. If Varney is on, I can stomach him on Fox Business, but some of his guests make you want to watch with a bucket.

Bizarre. I voted for Cruz in order for someone to get in there and fix the corruption that sees our debt climbing 10 trillion dollars in six years, under Obama, to stop the out of control brazen GOP led invasion of our beloved country and to get politicians back to the constitution

I hired Ted Cruz to do what he is doing, and to do so constitutionally, which there can be no doubt he is doing. He will never go beyond legal bounds to get done what needs to be done. If he were to act illegally, they’d get him out so fast it would curl petraeus’ hair. Conservative GOP have a standard of not being above the law. They are not the same as Hillary

Does Bret bair prefer these situations?

What he says here amounts to a creepy kid ratting to the teacher about another kid sticking up for what is right in the playground

Bair is off the list since he started in on trump in the debate, letting Megan jelly take all the heat

Good news, indeed. I thought the writing was on the wall when Boehner postponed the vote for the new Speaker of the House and, more importantly, said that the votes for lesser leadership positions in the House would NOT be at that time but instead delayed.

By the way, McCarthy can blame himself for his weaknesses...both professional and personal weaknesses as they intertwine.

Possibly, there are. However, there are but a few in DC. Most in DC believe a ‘leader’ is something attached to a fishing line...you know, something to help in catching the ‘big one’!

Unfortunately, it looks like Boehner is going to stick around until he can get a candidate like himself to succeed. We’d better man the phones and let him and others know that we want NO MORE of his ilk. PERIOD!

Bret Baier didn't really blame Cruz.

He just noted that Senator Ted Cruz is the T.E.A. Party leader of the Republican House of Representatives, that's all.

And it was the House T.E.A. Party that outed Boehner and now his Piss Boy.

Bret has already proven that he’s biased, and now he’s proven that he’s unscrupulous.

If this is true then Ted Cruz just won a few votes.

We call that “CREDIT”....NOT “blame”!!!!

The headline writer used the word "blame". Not Baier.
