I’m sure these far left loons at Google have NO love lost for FR... not hard to see that
Morning RR and thanks again!
did you find out anything, still getting it here??
Nope
How does google override a redirect from FR ?
They partner with the makers of browsers to be included in their programs (unless you turn it off). It can be a good thing I imagine at times, but they get it wrong on occasion. FR is a solid site, but I am sure they can link to a web site here and there that can be bad for your computer. If someone linked an article say from "Bad4UrComputer.com" and FR was found linking to that web site it could also be considered a bad web site. What we don't know is if AIM.org that they said FR linked to was actually a bad malware site. I would almost bet they are a good site that some liberals decided they wanted to mess with so they reported them.
I will post more in a bit. I found something earlier that I didn't post that perhaps would help others understand (or do better research than I am capable of).
Thanks.I am running and getting it on Safari.
Just tried on Chrome and redirector works OK,
I am curious who’s problem is this mine FR’s Googles Safari....no clue here?
OK just went into Safari properties and un-checked “warn of crappy sites” or what ever it says and its OK now.
My ? is why did this just appear.I want to turn that option back on so I suppose I have to live with that message if I do so?
Thanks
In a few days uncheck that "warn of crappy sites" option and try FR again. JimRob will have it worked one way or the other.
The sad thing is Malware makers now throw up false warnings messages like Google puts up to try and get you to click them to actually download bad stuff. The bad guys always are up to something. It basically makes Google's work that may of been honorable at one time, now more likely to get you in trouble.
If you own a web site and advertisers by ad spots on your website they can at first put good ads up but after a few days change their ads to be malicious (and you as a web site owner never notice it). One bad advertiser can get a web site marked by google. One good thing is FR does not accept ads, but FR has one flaw, it allows posters to link to other web sites (source the articles they put up). IMHO that is what got FR the flag this time, and mods would be hard pressed to vet each and every website an article was linked too.
Most articles have enough information on them to get the "gist" of what is important, but sometimes we have to click a link to get the whole story. Such is life on the internet (sometimes you take a risk).
Thanks for the input and informative response vs the expected “humorous “ replys.
Being and X digi Bell type but 10 years ago these little glitches get me going but been out of it to long to be able figure out if its me or them?
Thanks again
Nice Job RR
