Carly’s Night

Carly had a terrific night. Her handling of the Trump insult of her looks was pitch perfect, understated, but pointed. Her answer on Planned Parenthood was moving. She was a little too defensive on her HP record–understandably since it’s a vulnerability–but counterpunched effectively against Trump in that exchange. Her worst moment was when she made it obvious that Christie had gotten under her skin with his dig that average workers could care less about her and Trump arguing about their business records. Her concluding statement was very canned, but well done. I’d be shocked if she doesn’t keep rising in the polls.

I live in NYC and went through 9/11. That nonsensical garbage she put out afterwords about muslim culture blah blah, that did it for me.
I’ve seen this clown Rich Lowery several times on FNC the last week or so. He’s off the rails in his analyses of the candidates! It’s pretty obvious that he’s a lib, as he seems to bash every conservative candidate, IMO.
Well, the general public listens to pretty speeches and jumps on a bandwagon = never doing their civic duty to properly vet a person. I’m like many others on here - she was given the questions in advance and I thought that at the first debate as well. Notice how all the media tore down Sarah Palin, a true conservative woman, but praises Carly? That’s all I need to know about her.
The Soviet Union had “Pravda” and now “National Review” emulates that legendary publication with its own ‘party line’.
I think second place will change hands a bunch of times. Let it.
First is all that counts.

One of the companies she was head of, the CEO recently said they’re still suffering from the 2008 meltdown, 7 years later!

Anything really exciting happened during the debates? I was kinda of rather busy all evening and did not even turn the TV on. It is generally called having a life. Did the rest of them go after Trump? Or was it more political posturing and advocating that the GOPe will make something happen, as long as our guy gets the nomination. Meaning that GOPe once again screws the pooch and half the country does not vote and yet another worthless dumbocrat gets in.
