BEN CARSON WINS ! BEN CARSON WINS ! BEN CARSON WINS ! ADVERTISEMENT
It was last month, amid the failing direct GOPe attacks against Donald Trump, when we predicted Wall Street/Team Jebs approach would shift to promoting Ben Carson instead. We even shared their targeted date to peak Carson would be the CNN debate. All media (Madison Ave., Hollywood, Park Row) would be called in for the assist.
Iowa poll okay for Trump, if right, but terrific for Ben Carson, also topping favorability by very big margin.

Well?
.. After two weeks of continual pro-Carson push, tonight -coincidentally- SURPRISE !! Maryland announces Ben Carson wins the month long straw Poll:
(Excerpt) Read more at theconservativetreehouse.com ...
I heard him on Levin. He is a nice man but not the right choice for President. Maybe he could serve as the head of HHS or something.
There’s nothing to sell. Empty affirmative action suit.
I get tired of people richer than I am telling me how me and mine should give preferences to them and theirs because of their skin color. Is that not racist?
Name names. Who in the GOPe is pushing Carson? Carson is not part of them nor beholden to them.
Straw poll. Meaningless, misleading, unscientific garbage.
It’s Maryland for crying out loud. Maryland doesn’t count. It’s a GOPe stronghold where everyone is somehow connected to feeding at the public trough.
Maryland’s like a company town whose sole product is government bureaucracy.
Carson has been ‘running’ for well over a year. He was running ads touting that he was the only one who could beat Hillary last year.
I recall when Obama was giving his first presidential run announcement, I wondered, who is backing this guy. Someone doesn’t just wake up one morning and decide to run. It takes organization, money, friends and influence.
I ask the same about Carson — who is behind his run?
Neurosurging.

Probably. If Carson were to be ahead anywhere it would be a place like Maryland...
He’s certainly not an affirmative action suit— he’s earned everything he has and he’s a brilliant man.
That said, after his comments on Mike Brown, I absolutely will never vote for this man. Never.
Those are your choices. As for me and my household... we will vote for Carson over the other choices. In a heartbeat.
Vote for him, but worry greatly that he doesn’t have the “gravitas” required for a rough election run. He’s too nice, and too inexperienced. He will learn some rough lessons along the way... possibly at the expense of the election, and our nation.
He’s not an affirmative action suit as a doctor.
As a presidential candidate, he’s nothing but an affirmative action suit who has no business polling above .01%.
What I found interesting is that he seems to be well liked by some young people, he’s not very exciting so I found it odd.
Thing is, Carson is on Facebook all the time directly interacting and such. Young people like that.
Even the gaming community seems to be moving that direction, with developers interacting through live feeds and such. I think it’s a side effect of this reality tv junk and everybody having their own version of rtv on social media. I detest this as I think it conditions us to accept and not squawk as big brother becomes more and more intrusive.
I think many older people may like a more mellow person and a doctor is always well respected.
I would like to see the age break-downs of supporters of various candidates. I don’t know how to find that information.
He’s affirmative action in the sense that any white doctor with his credentials who announced he was running for president would never be taken seriously. Not as a surgeon, but as a presidential candidate. There’s a long history in the GOP of elevating any prominent black person who’s even semi-conservative to the level of Presidential or VP material. Colin Powell, Condi Rice, J.C. Watts, Alan Keyes, Herman Cain. Powell and Rice were qualified but not conservative. Keyes and Cain are conservative but not qualified. Watts was neither. But they are black with an R next to their names.
Did you read the article? Are you familiar with Sundance?
All I know is that I wouldn’t have wanted to but could have voted for him until he made the Ferguson comments. I’ve had enough of that with Obama.
I want to vote for Cruz but time will tell if I will have the opportunity. I’m also sick of the primaries, by the time it gets to Texas it’s mostly already decided.
